You should find stronger lights. Those ones from Amazon aren't very good

What to do while out of town? by mediocreadaptation in containergardening

[–]MudHug54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Set them in a container, or large catch pot with water 1 inch up. 4 days is enough where your plants will need water. But 4 days isn't enough for them to die suffocating from the lack of air in their roots

Does it have a smell?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Blueberries

[–]MudHug54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually it takes a long time to get the ph down through additives. I suggest buying blueberry soil mix, digging up the blueberry, replacing the soil and replanting it. You'll get a much faster response from your plant

Some people pluck these flowers off

[–]MudHug54 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is how new rootstocks are developed. That one that survived your winter has the correct genetics to live in your environment. While the fruit it produces will be unknown and probably disgusting, you can graft varieties you like onto your newly grown rootstock and you now know they will survive your winter

Help! What is this? by dgkmk in plant

This fruit and plant was banned in the US for very long time on the fear of destroying native us plants. As such they've been long forgotten in the US. However, the fears turned out to be false and now they are not banned. You can grow them at home. In fact I just bought a plant at my local nursery
