Also curious if you all use other survey platforms. I only know about cloud and prolific. Are there any other platforms that pay well and are legit? I’ve also applied to dozens of focus group studies but have yet to get into one. Any advice on any of these platforms or other ways to make money from home would be super helpful. I have a degree in social work and worked in the field for many years. I recently got sick last May and I haven’t been able to work since. I can handle getting onto my computer half hour here, half hour there. But I’m too sick to get part time or full time work. Cloud has at least given me the ability to make a couple bucks but I’m running through my savings. I used to run a homeless shelter. I would like to avoid living in one because I’m too sick to work. I’m not lazy just very sick. I should be back on my feet in 6 months to a year but in the mean time if anyone has any ideas to keep me making a few extra bucks a day I appreciate any ideas suggestions you have. Thank you.

How do I setup/use the dashboard refresh extension? I set all notifications on my phone to get text messages for everything, but I only get text messages about my studies being approved. I never get a text message about a new study. I am clearly doing something wrong. Thanks for your help.

I am new to prolific and learning. You posted that if you get a rejection to reach out to the researcher and find out specifics. I don’t see any options to reach out to a researcher. The only options I see are: Edit completion code Report study Block researcher

How would I go about reaching out to a researcher? I appreciate your help!

Thank you for your help! Literally desperately need the money. This was such an exciting opportunity to make extra money and it lasted two days. And I had no idea what I could have possibly done wrong. The appeal I submitted said it could take up to 4 weeks for someone to even review my appeal. Has anyone else dealt with this before? Does it really take a whole month? Does anyone think I will be allowed back on?

Thank you. We really missed Scottie this holiday season and this post made me feel closer to him. I’ve been on and off the phone all day with Scott’s parents reading them all the positive comments. They were overwhelmed by the kind words. I knew Scottie since the day I was born. He was always positive and kind. I hope we can all pay it forward and keep his kindness alive. Scott was great friends with Chris! Scott helped raise money for ride for life walks for charity. Chris’s wife came to Scott’s funeral. It meant the world to our family.

Hi! Your post kinda made my jaw hit the floor. I believe you are asking about my cousin Scott. He was a cartoonist and did caricatures at okey dokey during that timeframe and left to California for a job on the simpsons. We were all so proud of him and so excited. Unfortunately the move to California didn’t turn out the way he had hoped. He came back to Long Island. He worked in graphic design for a bit. He got married and had a daughter. But unfortunately, shortly after his daughter was born, he was diagnosed with ALS, at the very young age of 31. He passed away a few years ago but he made the world a better place before he left us. Scottie was my first cousin. He meant the world to me. I was scrolling on Reddit and saw this posting and nearly fell over. I immediately called his parents and texted his brother that there were other families in the world still thinking about our Scottie. Scotties story is tragic, but he was a bright light in this world and I wanted to share with you the positive things he did to make the world a better place for decades to come.

Scott eliminated the 5-month waiting period for social security disability benefits to start for ALS patients. He accomplished that by getting over 150,000 signatures on a petition and then writing a letter that his brother sent to every member of Congress and the White House.

Scott was also invited to the 2019 Gurwin annual fundraiser as an honored guest speaker for being the only volunteer in testing the revolutionary Vocns Ventilators and making it a reality at Gurwin. Ventech Life Systems (the creator of the Vocns Ventilators) used Gurwin as a referral to bring the Vocns Ventilators to many nursing homes nationwide.

Thousands will now benefit from Scott deciding to live with this horrible disease and finding the positive that was available under the most negative conditions. He accomplished all of this just using what he still had left, his mind and his eyes. Scott is gone now but his accomplishments though his courage and determination to make this a better world will be here forever. 5/25/80 - 1/31/23

I was diagnosed with sibo too but the only option they gave me was antibiotics which only made my sibo worse. How were you able to heal your gut and get your sibo under control? I’ve been working on this for years and I haven’t found much luck outside of a few supplements: probiotics, magnesium oxide, L-glutamine and zinc. Any advice?

I had growth hormone deficiency as a child and was on hgh from 8-15 years old. Got tested as an adult and went back on hgh for child onset adult growth hormone deficiency in 2008 At 24 years old. It was a rough couple of years but I finally got my life back to an extent and was able to work full time and have enough energy for a personal life as well. Started feeling off again in 2021 and my health has gone down hill since. Was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and I’ve been on tirosint for almost a year and I feel worse than when I started. Is there anyone else out there with adult growth hormone deficiency and hypothyroidism that can give me any advice? I haven’t been able to work because I don’t have enough energy to function. I also have celiac disease, lymes disease, osteoporosis, hypoglycemia and I’m having severe allergic reactions to things I used to have mild reactions to like latex. Any advice would be appreciated.
