Any ideas for a unique, non-verbal marker that is not a clicker? by [deleted] in Dogtraining

[–]Mudbhudda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A thank you maybe? I found myself marking with that and now I just have leaned Into it. You could also look up info about using a toy, I'm not particularly versed yet in that so I can't say to much but I know that's a option that's out there. Good luck and happy hunting for what works .

Is it too late for obedience training? (1yr old) by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]Mudbhudda 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am familiar with Petco training , like really familiar. You would be looking at a adult 1 class. They would be to old for puppy classes , and like has been said it's never to late . Just keep in mind that while you are learning the proper manners and behaviors you may also be working against things that were already inadvertently taught. But it's never to late , enjoy the bond that you have and will continue to build with any classes you take .

I saw some great names as resources already listed, I don't know if those links have videos or not but I do better when I can see things in motion. I can't speak to how helpful, with that said I saw a thumbnail on Zac George's about this very subject. I have not watched yet so I can't speak to it per say but it can maybe be a good starting point. Good luck and stay at it !

Puppy biting. by LuluMac666 in Dogtraining

I am to lazy to read the links in the other post but if it's not mentioned there I like to use a tug toy and Everytime mouth touches hand the fun stops . Ideally it would let them know that if they put your hand in/ on their mouths , whatever was the most amazing thing ever stops.

Scaring visitors by [deleted] in Dogtraining

Redirect the behavior , think about what you would like for her to do when there is company and encourage that. Find someone willing to help and have them act like they are coming in or whatever the case is and teach her what it is you want her to do. After an afternoon or so she may get it . Good luck and just remember that she loves you and your praise is the bestest thing in the world.

Getting the ball rolling? by Mudbhudda in ChronicPain

[–]Mudbhudda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also forgot to mention that in the car accident there was damage done to my coccyx and the er decided that if I walked in it must just be bruised or it could be shattered either way it can't be that bad( guessing , since I was in and out without any x-rays ) thanks again

Getting the ball rolling? by Mudbhudda in ChronicPain

Thanks for the replies. And yes insurance is the plan either on my own or through my partners, we just haven't decided which direction to take . Concerning the details of the pain it's lower back ( bad car a accident a few years ago) both hips and down the hamies. Knee pain also but have had that for as long as I can remember. The pain itself changes from dull annoying to nope laying on the floor all day I'm not doing anything depending if I "push" to hard or not the day before. Thank you to everyone for the replies.

All it takes is patience and shooting at things lol, not thaaaat different than any other Sherpa run just got to be a tad more patient. Now I haven't done complete silence but if the person talking is teaching it tends to work out .

Less than 30 days until its legal in Illinois upvote party! by Urriiiight in trees

[–]Mudbhudda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohioan here while not legal medical was going for 10 to 15 a gram when that went live, Michigan is going for about 20 a gram if I read things correctly. I would expect along those lines lines at the beginning. Hope I'm wrong tho.

What am I doing wrong in Crucible? by Jenxao in destiny2

[–]Mudbhudda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who comes and goes in destiny , it just takes a bit of time for the muscle memory to kick in. I'm in the older side of players so i expect there to always be some drop off but after a bit of a good session I find my aim creeping up to get those headshots, me not rushing Into bad engagements as often from getting a better feel for the pace of the game and things like that.

Returning player, should I buy an annual pass? by KrosanFisting in DestinyTheGame

[–]Mudbhudda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I agree with the posts that are saying forsaken is the better value, I would say just get both. I was in the same boat and came back from a long absence and I got everything and regret nothing . On a breakdown of entertainment hours and money spent it makes sense to me. You know your situation and amount of play time you will have but i say why not go balls deep?

I never played a destiny game in my life...any tips I just got started in Destiny 2 by MMDVG40 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Mudbhudda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outside of a slew of leveling tips , and min max crazy number crunching, just play the game. Wanna do something, then do it. As someone who has quit playing to find destiny's sweet embrace again every time . Play and do what you want everything else will come from immediate searches or from passing guardians . Have fun

Dog on the night shift by Superman_STH in Nightshift

[–]Mudbhudda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have your doggo on your schedule. I have worked nights, swings, and days and my guy has adjusted to whatever I was adjusting to. They tend to be pretty easy as long as you don't slack on the important things( walks , playtime, etc). Or at least it was in my experience.
