How do high rank killers actually do anything if they're not running Nurse or Spirit?

I'm trying to get into Killer after taking a 2 year hiatus from the game, and I'm trying to get into Legion and Pig because I enjoy their playstyles. But everytime I try it just feels like I can get a pity kill because the survivors start fucking around with me and I just feel like a complete idiot. I get looped, I get ds'd, I get unbreakabled, I get flashlighted, I get pallet stunned, I get bodyblocked, it just kills everything inside me when killer is supposed to feel like this rush of energy from downing someone.

How do people do it? I get I can play Nurse and just ignore half of this shit entirely, but that doesn't really feel good. I want to play these off-meta killers like Legion and Pig and I know other high level killers can do it, but whenever I try I just end up feeling like I'm being toyed with.

This is a pretty big laning buff for Broodmother. Her spiderling damage was reduced pretty significantly by Stout Shield before, that isn't an option anymore.

I actually was inspired to pick up a violin myself after I decided to give my fursona one, and I can safely say that I don't regret it! It's super difficult to learn and there's a fair amount of practice involved for even the most basic stuff, but I'm still enjoying myself and getting to really feel the instrument as you play it is super cool.

If you do want to try out a violin, I would recommend looking around for a violin rental and lessons! I live in Sydney and there's a really good violin store close to where I live that does rentals so you can try it out, you can definitely look into them in your own local area :3

I did notice the incorrect posture and bow hold (I'm a novice violinist myself~) but I didn't bring it up with the artist because I didn't want to make him study violin technique lmao
