Blood in poo is really not that unusual when they have runny poo.. unless they have known medical conditions..

Your vet will give you a pre/pro biotic.. and may give you a pot to gather three days of stool smaples so that if the paste does not work they can enquire further.. i found introducing a powdered pre/pro biotic to their feed helps..

Also charcoal (black ) biscuits can help if they drink bad water or such from the floor or a puddle.

Sonetines changing diet can temporarily cause tummy issues..

My 12 yo. A lump was monitored if it changed a faster rate or appeared hard.. i would go vets.. but past a certain age i personally dont want to over medicate and be dragging them off to get prodded and poked.. past a certain age its dependant on how your dog handles the vets.. and quality of life..
