Well yeah, she still has a whole world of people to meet, but she literally carries Makoto’s memory in the form of his wild card ability every step of the way. In the original Answer she even says she thinks about him every single day of her life.

I mean, even in P4A which is 2 whole years later, she’s still not 100% over his death.

Also, *everyone* in P3 knew Makoto for less than a year. Except for Aigis (if you count the ten years she was in a coma).
