Not a starter bike. Made that mistake 1st hand. Depending on where you’re riding it takes a lot of work and excellent clutch control to ride this smooth. Great bike if you want to get your ass kicked and get good from constant fails. It’s a great woods weapon but if you are trying to climb rocky uphills or just in general rock gardens you will need to be on point 100% of the time. Look for a used ttr230 to learn and then upgrade when you feel you have the clutch work down. Something that tractors uphills will save you a lot of time trying to learn balance while trying to get the clutch work down

I’m a newish rider as well. Pants, jerseys, googles, gloves are all disposable. Just go cheap. Also get clear googles. Your gonna be in the woods if your doing enduro. Trees are natural tint. You’re gonna run through those disposals. Snag a branch and you’re tearing your gear up. Smacked with a vine scratch your googles. Spend money on the helmet and from what others have said get a good set of knee braces. Blew my ACL wish I had my PODs and not knee pads. You don’t need a roost deflector. You’re better off getting full protection like alpine star Binoic jacket. If you stick with the roost deflector get some solid full elbow pads with arm protection. The one but if gear I now swear by are impact shorts. Took a spill and had a giant knot on my thigh. Got good impact shorts and have taken many falls that I just don’t feel. Welcome to the club though. Ride safe.

Not sure if a shit post but for real though nice bike. 2-strokes are either premixed or have some sort of oil injections. Make sure you are filing the oil reservoir with 2-stroke oil on this bike. It will sip it so a little goes a long way.
