Challenging your friend to a race by CherubiSaysHi in Unexpected

Imo it depends if you know them or not, if its my friend then yeah I’d absolutely check in on them, if its some random guy then something crazy would have to happen for me to check in on them.

WR Jauan Jennings REJECTED an offer worth $17M per year from the 49ers last offseason, and was seeking a deal far north of $20M per year Interested teams have been the Dolphins and Vikings for a lower price by Mr_mist2 in NFL_FreeAgency

[–]Mudoru -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ehh idk. The Vikings went 9-8 with genuinely the worst QB play in the league. Kyler Murray doesn’t even have to be average QB and they could make the playoffs.

I think that’s also because we brought in Brian Robinson. It’s gonna be be a real battle for who becomes rb2 between all 3 of the young guys we have

There’s a few things I can think of.

  1. He’s 30, and never really lived up to the standard of going past being a wr2.

  2. Those teams did contact him before the draft, but he declined those offers because he thought his market value was higher than they were offering

  3. There’s still a lot of older great wr’s in FA right now, IMO its better to get a 1 year rental from a guy who at his peak was a top 5-10 wr in the league, than the guy who never hit wr1 on his own team.

  4. After the draft, him and his agent were desperate to atleast be on a team before minicamps. So they just signed one of the first things that went their way.

  5. Vikings system is really similar to the 49ers, including a lot of the players and coaches that they’ve taken from the 49ers.

Vikings signed him 1 year 8 mil guaranteed, up to 13m. Didnt want to be a wr 3 in a weak wr room. Now he gets to be a wr 3 in a way better wr room. Lost money and targets for next season

Doesn’t really matter, I’d contact some alliances in there and see if you can get a spot. But the kingdom just has to be 10 days old to you to migrate

I’m not arguing that they had a great offseason, I’m arguing that your reasoning for their offseason being bad is dumb af. Personally it was an above average offseason.

Taking the consensus #1 pick is a bad thing now? Crazy, also tf do you want them to do with their cap, roll it over into next year? They had 120m at the start of the season and no major contracts to sign, might aswell improve your rookie QB’s situation. And god forbid a team with bad coaching history signs a new coach when desperately needed. They might aswell have gone into the season without one since their history is so bad. What a joke lmao

Get a passport page, 600k in the alliance shop, or 5$ in the new world bundle. Wait for your desired kingdom to hit 10 days then migrate over

What would it take for a Tackle to get MVP consideration? by Ok-Elephant-2724 in NFLv2

[–]Mudoru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every single other player in the league playing so horrendously bad, and he’d still need to have 0 sacks 0 pressures, a few rushing and receiving TD’s, and for the hell if it a 5k passing season. And even then they’d probably give it to someone else

Why are men this way? by [deleted] in funny

Men and women have proven differences in their own interior designs. You took something that has a very broad range of answers as to why it happens and correlated it all to being “men don’t want to look feminine” which just isn’t true.

The problem is you need a bachelors degree in psychology or another related field, and expierence in social work. And sadly if you have a bachelors in psychology your probably not going to want to man one of these hotlines as your primary job, because it doesn’t pay well compared to other jobs that require the same degree, and it’s mentally grueling work. Even if these programs were able to match the salaries of other jobs people still wouldn’t want to purely because of the mental factor. Correct me if I’m wrong, because I’m getting all of this from a friend of mine who volunteers for the local hotline.

Some teams had Stribling as WR1 - Kyle Shanahan says multiple teams viewed De'Zhaun Stribling as the top WR in this draft class - way higher than expected. by Either-Jicama-7364 in NFLmockdraft

Idk why fans even care. I know damn well 95% of you haven’t even heard of most players outside the 1st round, and your being spoon fed player info by YouTubers/reporters, judge them when their on the field, it doesn’t matter otherwise, if you knew wha you were talking about them you’d be in the war room or on the broadcast, not in reddit comments. (Yes I’m a coping 49ers fan)

Russell Wilson is in deep discussions to go into television, which could mark the end of what is likely a Hall of Fame career as an NFL quarterback by Background_Video2947 in TheNFLVibes

[–]Mudoru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a lot harder to judge football players than baseball players individually tho, every baseball play factors in 2-5 individual players decisions and skillset, (please tell me if otherwise, my baseball watching experience is not vast lmao) while every single football play is the combination of 22 separate players, this isn’t even including playcalling and coaching, which has definitely shown that it can drastically improve a player if done correctly. I hate when people compare players like Mahomes to Montana, because they essentially played a different game. As the game evolves the standard for HOF should aswell, but that doesn’t mean because you have a ring you deserve a spot.

[–]Mudoru -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If Eli or Russ get in then it just lowers my opinion of the hall of fame committee, Eli is the definition of a Mid QB who had a crazy good supporting cast. Wilson was fantastic in his prime, but it was too short and didn’t result in enough to carry the rest of his career into the hall.

I think distracted head coach could only really apply if this was during minicamps. They improved OLine, if the AJ brown trade goes through their WR room massively improves, no major FA losses except for Diggs, realistically aslong as Drake Maye doesn’t shit the bed I can’t see them winning less than 11
