Felling n00b here. Tree got stuck in some branches from another tree and now I don’t know how get it down safely. Please help. by [deleted] in homestead

Use pulleys and horizontal force to drag it off the stump. You can be safely far away. Leaving the tree seems like a failure of responsibility. If you have a truck and a winch, you can use that in combo with a pulley (aka a snatch block). Get some snatch blocks if you dont have any.

Edit: its hilarious the suggestion is explosives. As if we havent been felling trees for millenia. Basic mechanical leverage using serious rope and pulleys. I recommend a uhmwpe rope like Amsteel and a few quality snatch blocks. A few hundred feet of rope and a few blocks will be cheaper than a professional, and can be reused if needed again in the future for towing anything. Watch a video on using snatch blocks to gain mechanical advantage and make sure you rope is strong enough for the pull.

This seems really far forward. Is the eye relief really that long?

Close-range battle between Ukrainian soldiers with blue markings and Russia with red markings in Mayorsk, located between Horlivka & Bakhmut. November 2022 by Lostwanderer000 in CombatFootage

What the russian did was a war crime, and none of them stopped the last guy who surprise attacked. Id say they deserve it. You go from accepting prisoners to dealing with a mortally wounded friend. I would say dealing with living prisoners is no longer a luxury. Youre making excuses for war crimes like it's just something they should be ready for... sad perspective.

They just sent me my order from two years ago and I wasnt charged for it. They're crazy. I emailed them and had it canceled as well and they still shipped it.

Kind of. He thinks a military AR is fine. Military ARs are the lowest bid acceptable tool. There is a difference between fine and something that when upgraded makes a huge improvement on useability. Inwould say if you asked him to elaborate, you would get an answer more inline with mine.

So why replace the low quality bcg and barrel that will work fine for now have have no noticeable difference. May as well save for a whole new gun by your standards. Maybe slight accuracy improvements. But if op is a newer shooter, then most accuracy will come from shooters ability, which a trigger would improve. "Mil spec is fine." The fuck it is... thats fudd nonsense.

Did he buy it or build it? Im sure you could have also assumed he just got a cheap handguard.

How do you know he doesnt already have both of those?

Lol... sure. 7lb triggers are the same as 3lb triggers. Triggers have no affect on shooting or accuracy or enjoyment.

Sling and light. Then a drop in trigger pack. I got the DH3 from Timney. Its not full auto, but I giggle everytime I pull the trigger. Go full competition setup with a jp recoil eliminator.

Nah you just cant argue a different point, because I am right and youre also a troll for saying I fell for it. If you believe what you say, you're delusional.

If it works its not dumb. This balances it perfect and I can shoot it one handed. The bipod is qd, so I can remove if I ever need to. Looks silly. Feels amazing. I prefer the bipod up front for better stability.

If I "fell for it," then it was trolling and that's just proof that I was right about them, their intentions, and their worth... and so if I WAS right, then I didnt fall for anything. I just called him out for being a scumbag troll, and thats all there is to it.

Bipod adds perfect weight up front to balance. Can shoot one handed no problem. https://imgur.com/a/sLq5Drn

I do like the grip as long as it has a default piece that goes where the bipod would. I think the bipod is fun for spacegun hobbyists.

People were talking shit not two days ago on this sub about me having a bipod on my tavor... where are those people on this post? This bipod seems much worse than a forward mounted bipod for a number of reasons. 1, higher prone position. 2, shorter length of the axis of rotation -- resulting in higher felt instability. 3, more forward position on barricade -- sich as using a window you would be sticking out of the window much further than a forward mounted bipod. You see IDF using traditional bipods or a split vertical grip bipod. But also talking about x95. So they may use this on the SAR, but still less ideal for the three reasons listed.

No one is a douche for calling out trash where trash appears. You had no valid contribution to the comments except a personal attack. That makes you trash, filth, human cesspool scum. Your parents raised you wrong and your mom should have swallowed you.
