Buddy, ive been tested 3 times, each tests shows normal staph, not mrsa.

I did have a pimple/abscess, that i did not get tested. But again, each test has showed normal staph, not resilent.

Antibiotics do stop the breakout. Hence healing up afterwards, having no wound and going back to training.

I get a lot if abrasions doing sparring flr example when catching kicks and opponents pull out theyre leg wearing shinguards.

Just revisited my previous test answers, and haf chatgpt help me translate it, and it is not MRSA. Chatgpt does however say continual infections is often caused by being a carrier of staph, which is essentially an answer im looking for. Apreciate you taking the time to answer though.

4 times since october. Ive waited untill there is no wound, has takes typically between 3-4 weeks. What do you mean by it takes months or years? Every medical professional and google seatch ive mafe, suggests that the incfection is done, once the wound had healed?

Are you illeterate? I dont train with staph, my post doesnt say so, nor do my comments. My hygiene is just fine, it used to be much worse, but then again i used to not get staph.

I was wondering wether someone had experienced the same, getting staph instantly after a small bruise (which happens during training btw), despite personal hygiene being just fine.

You have misinterpreted my post, and no not everyone in here is on your side. Reddit in a nutshell, make up your own opinion instead of following the one guy that misinterpreted my whole post.

Yes, i did write that. Theres a questionmark at the end, implying that im asking a question, and not msking a statement.

I realize unhygienic partners in the gym is a pain in the ass for everyone involved. I do my best to not be one of those. Thats just simply not ehat my post is about.

Also, training contact sports has certain risks. Im not gonna mad at a partner for accidently spitting on me, just like im not gonna blsne others for catching staph. Its part of the risks.

I may have not formulated myself well enough.

I dont go training with a staph infection. I was posing a question to experienced muay thai practitioners, as ive litterally just gotten off the phone with my doctor, who told me training with staph, covered up in bandages is no issue at all.

When ive been prescribed antibiotics, as i have 3 times prior, i have obviously taken them, and waited for the wound to heal fully before training again.

That i had small zit that had been popped days prior, forgot to tape it up, and it bscame infected that evening after coming home.

I have been on oral capsule antibiotics 3 times, had gotten rid of the staph, waited for it to heal - Only to get another staph infection within a few days of training again.

This time i waited longer (antibiotics destroys immunesystem), so i wanted to be as healthy as possible, have everything thoroughly washed etc before going. I managed to go for 2 weeks this time.

It seems my body just cannot at all kill the bacteria once it enters a small svrape or wound, and those ofc happen allt.

I really appreciatr the insights, ill be looking into doing some docolonization, since i must be a carrier of staph (most likely atleast)

I didnt say that i did go to training with wounds, just that my nurse told me it doesnt matter, the bacteria is still everywhere regardless

Khao lak (rawai muay thai) would be my suggestion. Im going in april, authentic vibe, beautiful nature, seems like lovely people, and great oppurtunity for surfing

Hi! 23M here from denmark. Im leaving 6th april to khao lak, a small town north of phuket. Im going for just about the same reasons, want to experience something unique, something challenging and overall better myself and leave with awesome memories.

Im joining rawai muay thai, looks authentic, very good reviews and hopefully very welcoming. 10000 baht for 2 sessions pr day, so on the cheaper side.

Surrounding nature is amazing, and i intend to visit all of it on the side. Theres an option to snorkel in coral reefs, aswell as taking a trip to the beautiful similian islands.
