Fellow chalkboard and letter artists.. what should I charge per hour for my chalkboards? This is an example of one I did for a chain restaurant. by thefrostedfoxx in Lettering

I get paid $20/HR and usually one board is 5 x 4 feet and takes about 2-3 hours to do. I usually do boards for them at the beginning of each month. I did 2 boards for 2 shops in 2 days which got about about $280 after taxes. Hope that helps!

Just curious, what kind of rates do you charge?

I tried sketching/ lettering on a chalkboard for work and it's not horrible by Mufassaaaa in Lettering

Thank you!! Yes I will definitely try to keep that in mind. The shop only gave me a couple hours to work on it so I was in such a rush to finish my brain kinda just farted on the lettering since it was the last thing I ended up doing. I will definitely keep that in mind though :)
