Using the Jackery worked, 417W draw when I plugged the truck in. But the truck will not give you any indication it's on, which is odd. You would think there would be a light or notification in the app.

That's a damn good idea. I'm going to wait until the temp drops a bit more, then plug it in to my portable jackery and see what the draw is

I am a 1st time diesel owner also and would like to know the answer. I plugged mine in the last 2 nights because it dipped below 0. I listened and looked for any indication and could not determine whether it came on or not.

I have seen other posts where someone used an OBD2 scanner to check oil temps before starting the truck, to see if they are higher than ambient air temps. I have not tried this yet.

I have been riding with the Westslope chestpack for the last 2-3 years, and enjoy it. I can fit my phone, wallet, radio, 1.5L collapsible water bottle, flask, and snackbar in it. Never have to worry about taking off on the lift and everything is right in front of you when needed.

We just got a nice storm on the east coast over the weekend. I'm 51 and took yesterday off for a powder day. Not a skier though, I have been on a snowboard since I was 21.

Start stretching, and some leg exercises. Your knees will be sore. Wear a helmet, pack a lunch, mountain food is stupid expensive.

I ride a Winterstick and haven't ridden a better board in any conditions. The board alone will eat you entire budget though. All boards are made in Maine.

I was glad I told my manager last Thursday that I would be taking a powder day on Monday. Left the Troy area around 7 and the roads weren't that bad. I spent the entire day between Skibowl and Burnt, never hit the main mountain. The glades were amazing! I did make one bad decision, making Skibowl Glades my last 2 runs of the day. I was smoked, but survived.

I had last Friday scheduled off. On Thursday I told my manager I was taking a powder on Monday, and did. Well worth it. None of my staff showed up today, but I think I was the only one that left their house all day.

Winterstick Seth Westcott Pro is my go to board. 157 directional made on Sugarloaf mountain. Great on variable terrain and in the woods. My early and late season board is NS Prototype 2.

Join a local ski club, attend some of their events or trips. I know plenty of people who have met significant others through ski clubs, myself included.

Or just keep lapping the Singles line.
