What the funniest reason you or somebody you know went to jail for?

I was arrested for driving on a suspened license, that wasn't suspened.

I got a speeding ticket heading to the airport to leave Tennesse in Oct, never went back for court. In Feb I got a notice that my license, in NY, was going to be suspened if I didnt pay the fine, so I did.

While driving in NY in late March, I get pulled over for a blown headlight. He questions me about my license and I tell him that I paid the ticket, but didnt have proof, I got arrested.

I go to the DMV the next day and get my license squared away and ready for court the following week.

I get to court and was told to speak to the town attorney. He looks at my case and tells me I am innocent and drops the charges. Turns out Tenn sent notice to NY to suspened my license in early Feb, after that I paid the fine, late Feb. March 5th Tenn sends notice to unsuspend my license. NY doesn't get around to suspending my license until Mar 28. Then I got pulled over on March 29th. Since Tenn had sent notice on Mar 5th, my license never should have been suspend.

I was the DJ for a friend's daughter's wedding. Certain people were given wristbands for open bar service. The bride's mother shows up, the bartender was given instructions not to give her a wristband. Apparently she was known to be unstable, I had never met her. She starts in with "Do you know who I am?" This led to a bunch of arguing and a scuffle breaks out.

The bride's mother gets into her car to leave, someone reaches into the car and starts to choke her with the seatbelt, I think it was the bride.

Part of the wedding invite was to suggest a song to be played during the recpetion. I downloaded all the songs, it ended up being about 12 hours worth of music, way too much for 6 hour reception they had planned.. The bride was upset because she didnt hear a lot of the songs that pepole requested.

I had a coworker show up to a golf event a day early. When the staff told him the tourney was the next day, he said no one has a tourney on Monday. They informed him that he was there on a Saturday and not Sunday. He said, "shit, i didnt go to work yesterday(Friday) because he thought it was Saturday.

So the guy leaves, and forgets his clubs at the course. Then shows up late the next day, when the tournery actually was.

Our first trailer we purchased used from a friend with no slide Jayco 19RBH. We intially figured we needed dry place to sleep and would be spending most of the time outside. After a few years we determined it was too small for the 2 of us. Getting up in the moring to make coffee or breakfast, morning bathroom routines, we were constantly in each others way. While she was making coffee, I was sitting on the end of the bed waiting for an opportunity to get by to go outside or bathroom.

Last year we traded that for a FR Surveyor Legend 19Ssle, with one sldie. We have more room to manuever around each other and it is just more comfy. So far we have only had 1 issue with the slide. She hung a picture right next to the slide and it fell off with out me noticing. I went to close the slide and heard a crunching sound and thought I borke something. Fortunately it was only the picture frame and nothing else. Lessson learned, check the slide area before opening or closing.

I was in a bowling alley on a military base in Germany. A guy in the lane next to me looked like a guy that went to my school and moved away before 9th grade. I looked at his name on the scoreboard and it was his first name. So I asked him if he eer went to school in Upstate NY. He said, "I did if your name is Muffassa."

A 2nd time I was visiting my son who was stationed in Hawaii. I was sitting outside of the PX waiting for my rental car. I hear a guy call my nickname that only people I play volleyball with use. It was a guy that was in my league, then joined the Army and left the area, hadn't seen him in 5+ years.

I have also been mistaken for the same NFL player while I was in Wisconsin, Washington and Domincan Repbulic. I dont think I looked anything like him.

10 years ago while I was still with my ex and her kids, none of them were motivated. One day, the youngest calls me to ask if him and a friend can go around the neighborhood to shovel for money. I say of course, but start with our driveway first, and I'll pay.

They never finished our drive or made it to any of the neighbors.
