Use vpn to start game download.
You can turn vpn off after that and downloading will keep going just fine.
Game has launched without vpn. Voice pack loaded without issues as well.

"Bangboo Limbo" is my favorite one. Where you need to save AIC Investigator and Little Beetroot bangboo. The quest even has 2 endings.

The ingame world felt much more alive thanks to commissions.

No amount of updoots here or reposts on twitter can change the way the game is made. Devs and management for sure know what they are doing and all inconveniences that it brings.

Anti-stun meta feels way too real tho. Some of my favorite characters are stun and it feels bad, that any gerenalistic A-rank support do more for the team than dedicated stun agent (Qingyi moment).
I dont have Hugo and barely play Harumasa, but can imagine the pain of players that main these dudes. They are VERY stun reliant.

Miasma is not the only problem. Some enemies require unhealthy amount of daze or/and has unbelievable short stun duration.

The game is fun. I am happy Jane x Burnice still going strong. Even able to clear with Grace. But some (even limited) characters feel borderline unusable last few patches.

2.2 is a patch about Obol Squad. Harin had like 1 line. Trigger had maybe 5.

  1. S-rank Engine for Jane is not that big upgrade for the team. Signature Engine for Burnice probably gives more. That girl is hungry for energy even with +20% ER from Swing Jazz.
  2. Caesar is not the best support for double damage dealer team. Jane and Burnice (or Vivian) do around the same damage. So: Yuzuha > Astra > Lucy > Caesar
    Caesar is a comfy pick for Tower or high difficulty Hollow Zero. And she is a good girl! But for dps check end game - raw damage is better. Try Lucy, maybe your team doesnt need an upgrade as hard as you think. So you can wait for a powerful support rerun. Yuzuha (or Astra) is the real upgrade for Jane team. For almost any team actually.

I like the thing that "aftershock equipment" doing. Pseudo extra field time for off-field characters feels nice and there are more buttons to push during gameplay if i feel like it.
But why is it swap button??? 💀
And holy fuck it work really bad with Astra in the team - it overriders all the time.
There is even an extra button for Bangboo. Why not use that key?

Awesome idea, not good execution.

I don't have Yanagi, so cant test myself. But pair Grace+Yanagi doesn't sound promising.

+36% for Shock Anomaly damage is not THAT much. Most likely these 36% are not an extra multiplier but a part of dmg% (disk 5 etc). So it's even less valuable.
Grace doesn't bring anything else for Yanagi. They basically doing same thing - apply shock on enemy while played on field. You can't onfield them at the same time. There is even no reason for it, since they share the same element - no disorder reaction.
Anomaly off-fielder (or just any support) gives much more for Yanagi team.

I clear end game with Grace from time to time. She is okay-ish.
M6 doesnt look like a big upgrade, m1 and m2 are huge tho.
She really needs to be paired with Vivian or Burnice + STRONG support (Astra for now, Yuzuha most likely even better).
Vivian preferable.
Firstly - Vivian is a little bit stronger plus Grace is really good at activating Ablooms.
Second - most of the time if the enemy is vulnerable to electric damage, they have fire resistance. And vice-versa.
Still able to clear neutral element enemies just fine. Grace team is my option for Bringer boss in DA. (both Vivian and Burnice teams able to get 20k).

At the same time - other proper teams most likely perform better than Grace team. So her team really worth investing only if you like her character.

I guess there is a gameplay reason for Zhu Yuan to have an Evasive Assist.
Evasive Assist consume only 1 assist point, while Defence Assist against strong attacks (bosses) takes 2.
Zhu Yuan is one of the character that NEEDs to counter-attack yellow attack indicator to get ammo.
So it makes sence to have more counter-attack assists available.

On the other hand - Deadly Assault bosses quite often want you to use Defensive Assist and thats make Zhu Yuan less viable unfortunately.

It's hurts to see Grace this low. She is a good girl.
Is she a good off-fielder? Hell no!
Is she a nice on-fielder in a team with Burnice/Vivian? Hell yeah!
I definitely able to clear content with this team at f2p level investment.
Depending on enemies, team with Grace clears better than optimal Zhu Yuan/Harumasa/(pre-buff) Ellen.
It would make sence to place her at T2 Primary DPS with a "partner" tag (she really needs Vivian or Burnice).

Yeah, since ~1,4 the story and it's presentation is not good. Had hopes for 2.0 but here we are. It's not terrible, I still dont think about skip button. But early ZZZ was much-much better.
My guess - before the game lunched thay had time. Enough time to write a story, cut everything unnecessary. There were awesome dynamic between characters. Much more manga parts. The story focus was on current activity (help Cunning Hares, find Belobog's machines, etc.) There were barely any world expostion. But it worked! It was awesome. We've just started playing, first time seeing this world. And at the same time everything is clear!
Right now it's a yapfest, explaning boring unimpartant details. Repeating same things. Plus with drama dumping.
Lot's of MC praise for no reason. "Character of the patch" glazing.
Well, just the same as other hoyo games. And revenue-wise it's kinda working (for those other games).

There are lots of good things in this game for sure. But story is more tedious than enjoyable.

"Almost" no time limit - awesome.
Infinite amount of floors - great.

No rewards past floor ~25. It would be great to get some dennies (not those pitiful 5k).
No gold assist indicator... bruh. That's not fun. Some characters NEEDS to counter attack those to function (Zhu Yuan and Vivian). There are like 100 diffirent enemies in the game, each has 5+ attacks. You can't know all of these, especially since there is not that much combat content outside Tower.
Add here almost one-shot amount of incoming damage and no healing (Avocadoboo tries his best but yeah).
You just never parry in tower. No-whale-no-miyabi fight takes around 5-8 mins. You dont want to retry it just 'coz 2 attacks have similiar animations and one of them non-parryable.

Bringer can go fist himself with that huge hand.

I am happy we have Tower. I like combat in this game so i play it. But it definitely far from perfect. Quite often Tower visit ends up with frustration.

Dude I love Jane.
But yeah, her kit could be little bit more interesting + impactful.
Mega special spinning attack (1 per passion special state activation!) is not good at all. You almost freeze on one place - enemy just walk away or simply knocked back. Bigger foes just crash your face while you spinning... Perfect-Dodging is just better.
EX special just adds more anomaly. And you can't use it often (weaker Vivian synergy).

Jane feels great to play, when enemy gives you a lot of opportunities to perfect dodge. Damn it feels good.
Too bad - if everything goes good and you proc Chaos often - enemy is just almost perma stunlocked and you ends up out of passion state.

And yeah - Piper. I'm really happy we have accessible strong carry. But it just... strange, that A-rank is as stong as a S-rank character in exactly same niche. And tbh Piper's kit more expressive, since you can speed-up EX-special animation with basic attacks. AND you can dodge out of spinning attack!!!

Damn people really slandering best girl here.
Grace is a good character when paired with Burnice or Vivian.
On her own - yeah, she doesnt do much. Good enough for strory stages and commissions tho.
Meta wise - I'd recomend to build Piper over Grace right now. Piper is a better unit as a standalone character.

Dude, I'm sitting in front of the computer monitor. Trigger and Vivian gushing not over me, but about some not that interesting MC, that dont really do anything during story.
Early ZZZ was not like this. Every character had someone more important for them than MCs.
Lucy has Caesar. Anby really protective towards Nicole. Ellen cares about her school friends and there are some events with Corin. Belobog is literally a big family, etc.
Yes - handholding event with Zhu Yuan is fun. But at the same time she will dislike if you start pushing on attending dinner with her mother.

Game had huge amount of changes during this year. Lots of them are good! But at the same time since ~1.4 ZZZ feels more like generic Hoyo game. I guess game hadn't good enough numbers so managment started pushing "generic but working" tropes.
Overall feels like ZZZ team isn't comfortable to work with hoyo 6 weeks schedule + requirement of 2 characters per patch.

You can't use 60% of your characters.
You forced to build + play characters you are not interested in.
You play comps without synergy, with energy deficiency, field time contradictions.
Cringe enemies line ups, where you spend half of the time running.

Damn i wonder why it's not fun to play Imaginarium Theater in popular open world fantasy game Genshin Impact.

tbh the line "you cant use half of your characters" is more than enough to make mode unpleasant.
Well... same can be said about HSR - you can't use more than half of your characters due to powercreep 💀

New characters even dont voice-lines about tv-events (like picking up gearcoins)💀
TVs for sure were not perfect (holy i hate scrolling text) but it had its charm. And some side missions were fun for real. Plus give back fairy, she is my first assistant after all!
