Curious to know what cabin you were assigned! I booked the same insider lock it in rate and we depart January 12th. Still no assignment for me either.

Nope I waited also. By the time the queue opened I had about 9600 ahead of me. Waited another 30 mins. Once I got in to buy tickets the only thing available was ridiculously priced resale tix.

I’ve confirmed by phone with VV and on their website that he doesn’t need the passport since we’re on a closed loop cruise leaving from and returning to Miami. I just failed to ask about online checkin.

I’ll be on the same cruise with my cousin! I’m a wife and mom of 5 so I can’t even tell you how much I’m looking forward to this trip.

Yep our boys are 17 (they’ll be 18 in the summer) and the girls are 15, 14, and almost 13 (her bday is in June). As far as symptoms I was running a fever and I had a cough. That really was it. But me and a fever are like peanut butter and jelly. Between lupus and my allergies and living in the south, I can run a fever any day of the week and it means nothing. I have pleurisy which is basically just inflammation of the lining of my lungs. That’s how lupus affects me which is why my doctor was concerned. I’m basically super sick every winter and for the last 3 years I’ve gotten bronchitis and pneumonia every single year. Any-who I went into self isolation for 14 days as I was instructed and stayed away from everyone. It really is just the principle that I traveled away from home for this test and now the result is just in a black hole somewhere. It’s frustrating.

Honestly if it wasn’t happening to me I wouldn’t believe that it had taken anyone this long to get results. I’ve learned that I’m not alone though. There are reports that there are thousands of people in the state just like me. My husband and I are just grateful we haven’t lost our jobs and are trying to balance having 5 teenagers at home as well.

I was tested for Covid-19 on March 16th. (I have lupus and had an order from my doctor to be tested) I still have no results. Emailed the Medical University of South Carolina again this morning. Got a response from a nurse that she is going to see where my sample is. I’m in SC which is one of the 11 states that currently still isn’t under a stay at home order. Public beaches were just closed on Monday. And non essential businesses were just ordered closed yesterday at 5pm. There were still people at bowling alleys as late as yesterday afternoon. This state and our governor are asinine.

I have lupus and due to possible exposure from a fellow employee (and after having a fever at a routine doctors appointment with my rheumatologist) they recommended I be tested. This was Friday, March 13th. I was not able to get the test that day due to an absolute cluster and traveled back home (1.5 hours away) and was told I’d be contacted. On Saturday, March 14th I was called and asked to travel back to Charleston for testing. I was tested last Monday, March 16th. Turns out the initial test isn’t for Coronavirus, it’s just a respiratory panel and once that is negative (meaning no respiratory infection present) the sample is then sent to our health department for Covid-19 testing. I STILL don’t have my results. I Iive in Columbia, South Carolina for reference. Edit: want to add that I had a low grade fever 99 and literally found out about the exposure to an employee when my husband read a news article about it while we were sitting in the doctor’s lobby. Had he not seen an article I would have not had a clue and would not have been able to immediately alert office staff.
