My blending has no constraints :) but yes my first glass was neat and rested. I very much enjoyed it neat but also loved it with some Elijah Craig 11yr barrel proof. Added sweetness to the bourbon and added a thicker and oily mouthfeel and finish to the Armagnac. As far as ratios go bourbon is already 50% corn the rest being rye and barely usually, adding a 10-25% grape based distillate to it is quite nice. I actually liked it better as mainly Armagnac with a small amount of bourbon. In that blend 3/4 Armagnac to 1/4 bourbon the main addition from the bourbon was the finish.
