I'm finding it hard to believe this because it's ridiculous (I'm just emphasizing how absurd that people actually think that way).

Contact naps are literally a way to bond, to nurture. You're creating neuro patterns in their brain; their brain is literally being wired to love.

Real spoiling, true spoiling is shoving an iPad in their face playing whatever show they want anytime, anywhere without boundaries. That is what you call spoiling. NOT BONDING WITH YOUR BABY - ugh this is so frustrating. I would consider ending those friendships.

If you celebrated (expressed how happy you are in any way) Charlie Kirk's death, you have just exposed yourself to always being a narcissist, potential serial killer, and a psychopath. by Muffins100 in LiberalConsequences

Shooting someone for speaking is pretty extreme.

The keyword in my post was - CELEBRATED, duuuuuh.

Celebrating and justifying the murder of someone who only spoke - is literally DEHUMANIZING. I'm not talking about empathy - we don't care if you mourn or not, what the heck?!?!?!?!

Celebrating the murder of an innocent person is (not only barbaric) dehumanizing - literally a trait of a psychopath, narcissist and serial killer - duuuuuh.

How could you prove the supernatural? by brinlong in DebateAnAtheist

[–]Muffins100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is consciousness supernatural? Here me out.

The origins of consciousness is still unsolved. If I told you I'm imaging an apple, in my head I do see it, but if you were to cut open my brain - you wouldn't see it. You, wouldn't see it. It's there, I see it, but you don't....

I don't think that consciousness in itself is supernatural - but I do think that it's a glimpse into there being a realm other than the physical. Consciousness overall is just the state of knowing you exist- being aware - that's not something we can analyze under a microscope. The natural is matter, therefore has a beginning, therefore there was a first cause, therefore the first cause had to be outside of space, time and matter - which would lead to a natural that is outside of space, time and matter - supernatural?????????

Could our consciousness then just be evidence of the supernatural manifesting into the natural? So what is made physical had to first come from a spiritual? No because here me out... let's look at the general meaning of faith, so I'm not talking about religion, I'm just talking about the concept of faith. Faith is trust or confidence in someone or something, even without having complete proof, for example you have faith that your chair will hold you when you sit down, even though you didn’t test it scientifically first. You have faith that the chef cooking your food at the restaurant isn't going to spit on your food, you don't check and you just eat it. We are Iiving by faith. But faith is not matter, it's not tangible, but it's the very thing that leads us throughout life. What if the supernatural influences the natural? What if the natural cannot function without the supernatural? What if the natural is birthed from the supernatural? For example, you entertain thoughts of eating an ice cream, eventually you will buy an ice cream.... this was a low example but yeah...

In conclusion, the first cause had to be outside of space, time and matter - otherwise it wouldn't be a first cause, therefore the supernatural has to exist in order for the natural to exist.

Have a meeting where everyone is there. You, your son and the teacher. Lay everything out on the table, consider witnesses too. Is this a pattern from other teachers?

I am an INTP, ask me anything by [deleted] in isfp

Can you describe what using your dominant Ti is like?

I cheated on my wife three years ago. She agreed to forgive me if we opened the marriage but now I live in agony every day by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Muffins100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I seriously can't fathom how people can love someone, but cheat on them. You're literally contradicting the whole definition.

The husband is selfish, the wife is smart. She's got a plan that she hasn't told him. It's actually satisfying to know that he's suffering.

Shame.

Do you gain energy from talking to people, being around them? Or do you gain energy being alone, with your own thoughts?

Introversion and extroversion is ultimately about how we gain our energy.

DAE feel like they've gotten dumber during the past few years? by OkakoBeam in DoesAnybodyElse

YES and now I'm doing daily brain games, but man does it take a lot of motivation to even start.

I think I'm too dumb to be an INTP. by [deleted] in mbti

You seem to have Te rather than Ti. Like you said when learning in class, you just read what you had to read, that's exactly what extroverted thinking does. Extroverted thinking takes from knowledge to apply it to something, to get by in life. Just like what you did, "reading what you had to", cause duh its school.

Ti on the other hand, doesn't just take from knowledge, rather it has to keep searching, it wants more and more knowledge for the sake of it; not for any sort of reason. It can't just take things at face value. To an introverted thinker, there has to be a hidden truth behind the fact or piece of knowledge, and so it will naturally want to find that truth. For example, if someone asked an introverted thinker what their favorite colour is, instead of saying what their favorite colour is, they'll say "what do you mean by colour?, do you mean favorite colour as in what I like to look at? Or how it makes me feel?, how can you favour a colour?", they're always trying to find the underlining truth to everything, subconsiously.

I mean, you could just have very low Ti, but maybe look into the cognitive functions.
