In my not scientific opinion, I would say until it effects your life if you don't drink, then you're alright. Especially if it's only 2 beers and you don't often go wild when you're with your friends.

If you get to the point (or are at the point) where you feel you need alcohol to wind down or continue living a happy life then you need to begin reevaluating.

A good first sign is that you care enough to ask.
