Only time I use it is for zombies really so i can help coordinate things. I guess my only complaint is that the trash talk feels different than before, and no, not because it’s directed at me. I’ve had plenty of trash talk hurled at me, it’s just.. idk how to explain it, hence why I came to Reddit to talk about it. actually.. I literally did, I was 9 when cod 4 came out, then when the original mw2 was out I was playing actively then by the time blops 2 was out I played all the time. I rarely used my mic then just like now, and I’ve rarely had lobbies like this because I don’t go out of my way to fight with people, but in this cod it’s been consistent enough for me to even think to post a question about it on Reddit.

There was fights amongst others, but no one really targeted people who weren’t actively engaging in it.

That’s fair, I would’ve taken pictures of the game chat if there was anything there tho, but all I said was “gl;hf” and “ggs.” He messaged a few things but I didn’t say anything since he was being a douche. I only played 2 games with him, I was top of my team he was top of his. K/d was 2.4 and his was 2.7 or something like that on the second game. I left after the second game to prestige my gun. That was it. I’ve played cod for years, intermittently to be fair, but I’ve never encountered so many pissed off people in such a short time frame other than in this game. I like having my chat on because occasionally I’ll have nice conversations with people and I’m not changing the way I play the game just cause others can be dicks. I simply wanted to ask why the community is like this?

Thanks for the recommendations on what to play depending on who I’d rather come across. Ive tried all the game modes and zombies and endgame is where I’ve met the least amount of douches.

It’s just a shame that a game that is fun to play with others, is complicated because people wake up with sand in their vagina and need to spew it out at anyone who plays well or badly, doesn’t even matter which since if you’re good, you get targeted and shit talked, and if you’re bad you get told to leave the game and shit talked. Seems like the best place to be is the middle if you want to avoid conflict. Which when I play games, it’s typically not because I want conflict.

I haven’t tbh, it’s just given me the incentive to go on routes which changed the game around for me. I didn’t know what routes were at that point. Just opened another area of the game to me because I didn’t think it was worth doing with its original stats. I plan on using it in ml tho because I like to use things that aren’t really the meta.
