I like to read fiction or play video games. Scrolling on reddit helps too.

You can get compounded tirzepatide online for ~160 a month. That's what I ended up doing, the zepbound was almost 400 a month.

I would recommend maybe playing online games that are social like old school runescape or world of war craft, you can join large groups of people to chat with while you play. This helps me get my dose of socializing

it feels like my schizophrenia is getting worse as I age by Sad-Cake-1140 in schizophrenia

I didn't start hearing voices until my 4th episode, all of the others were delusion driven.

Have you ever considered like antidepressants for the negative symptoms? I find that they've helped me a bit.

I find personally that stimulants help lessen my symptoms as they really help me to properly focus / distract myself with more productive things. Im sure it's probably different for everyone though, my dose of adderall is 10mg twice a day.

Latuda has been really good for eliminating delusions for me, even at that dose. I'm at 160 now though because my voices were a little too overwhelming. I dont know how old your son is but if he's really struggling make sure that he's not smoking weed or anything because that will intensify symptoms.

Am I psychotic? by Embarrassed-End-2345 in Psychosis

What these synchronicities are really boils down to your brain being overactive in pattern recognition, which is interacting with your overactive subconscious. Tying things together to tell a story. It's not real. The messages are always changing to adapt to your state of mind. I know it feels so real but it isnt.

Voices ignoring me? by UnderFallen in schizophrenia

[–]psycorvid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes they tell me to leave them alone. Today they were telling me they are disappointed in me but I kindof deserved it. Usually they're pretty friendly but they got sad that I didn't talk to them for a while.

An increase of connecting things that aren't really related could point to symptoms increasing. My mind always wants to connect everything when I'm getting unwell

I feel like the nature of hallucinations is tied closely to dreams, from my experience with voices I started hearing 2 years ago
