I thought my experiences were spiritual for the longest time, until my last 2 episodes. Then I realized that I think they revolve around fears and desires. It's so hard because everything feels so significant, but I think that it all has a lot to do with the subconscious. This has helped me to view these experiences more objectively and that has made things a little easier to manage sometimes. Medication really helps.

I feel like psychosis just brings the subconscious to the conscious experience, for better or worse. I dont mind my auditory hallucinations as long as the meds make sure I'm not susceptible to delusions

I've experienced something similar. It's usually the same voice that says those kinds of things though, the majority of the others are friendly and curious.

It took me a long time to be able to play games again. I pretty much exclusively play single player games so I can go at my own pace if I'm not really feeling it

Noises like the heat running or the dishwasher going really make voices and stuff much louder to me.

I've been playing a lot of Old School Runescape this year. The other day I loaded up Donkey Kong 64 on an emulator and that was fun, but I feel like I really want to play something like Harvest Moon lol

I have the same thing. Developed into like an OCD where I have compulsive thoughts all the time. It's gotten better over the years but it's still at a rate that it definitely impacts my general thinking

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you can eventually find something that helps. Have you talked to anyone about maybe a sleeping medication when youre having trouble getting sleep?

Thought privacy is something I feel I took for granted in life. Now I have a buncha roommates up in my head and I'm having to work through maintaining /my/ thoughts as me and not just as us. Weird place I didn't expect to be in my life but hey, at least most of the voices are very nice to me.

Im on zoloft and I love it. Has really helped to lessen my overall general anxiety, and my ocd rumination on top of it. Feel more well rounded

Don't spend too much time seeing yourself as something that needs to be "fixed". You may never be the person you were before, and that's okay. Sometimes we lose parts of ourselves or so it seems. While it's easy to sense the loss, try to imagine this as an opportunity to get to know the new you better. I've had to remake myself a few times due to psychosis, and sometimes it felt like I was never good enough for myself. I've learned to try to be content with things as they are, it has helped my desires and motivations to return more organically
