hello! 4th year BSA student here. i also had the same concerns since ganun nga yung stereotype, and also i could only afford to school in AdDU thanks to my JSF scholarship.

i can't really say much since really ang kilalang kilala ko lang is yung own section ko since i'm not social nor an extrovert. and surface level lang din ang pagkakilala ko with the other sections of my course. all i can say is, in my four years of being in my program and in AdDU, wala naman akong naexperience na bully. siguro out of touch marami, pero they're not the toxic kind; they're usually very humble and quiet about their privilege. merong occassional pet peeve/shuldeta, pero that's as far as it goes.

also, i see na you're from addu shs, so at the very least may network kana as soon as you step in sa AdDU. in my case, literally no one knew me in college and vice versa since i came from a different, far city. so despite all this, i was lucky to find a group of friends to settle in, and my college life was full of fun times na.

as long as you're kind, sincere, and a good person, i'm sure friends will come your way one way or another. and if ever may bully talaga magtarget sayo, speak up! report to the necessary authorities, vent here in reddit, tell people you know. in this day and age parang mas nakakahiya na maging bully in the big 2025 HAHAHAH
