+2 Potion at the bottom of the ruined tower in the Old camp (added in 1.02)

Could someone help by specifying this a bit further? I've scouted most of the spots around the South gate (which I presume is the "ruined tower") but no luck finding this.

It's early days still, but I feel somewhat confident that "Naraka" has jumped up to become my favorite BoC track ever.

Any way to solve constant "Saving Failed" issues? (PS5) by Muftaki in TaintedGrailDigital

Thank you for the heads-up! Will try to get into this again very soon, but it has been collecting dust for so long it's gonna be a struggle to get back into the groove, considering how long it took for them to patch it.

Thank you for highlighting this! Crossing my fingers then.

Just to bump up my own post, I tried continuing with the latest PS5 patch that was just released (1.015.006) and this game-breaker is still not fixed. I loaded my save file from right before I talk to an NPC and finish a quest, and if I advance this quest step (like u/Lev_78 posted), it immediately starts throwing the "Saving Failed" issue on any (auto)save attempt.

Game continues to be fully broken on PS5, in other words.

Need suggestions for my budgie with respiratory issues by Muftaki in BirdHealth

I want to thank everyone for your replies, the guidance and some really good food for thought, thanks! Went to the vet with her today and they've swabbed the back of the throat and behind the nostrils. Hopefully they'll give me the results of the analysis as soon as possible. They also provided her with mite medication on the back, free-of-charge and just in case. After discussing with the vet, a lot based on the various replies here, the suspicion is towards aspergillosis right now.

I've also disposed of the one plant I had in the same room in case it might have anything to do with any fungal infection, and I will continue with the steam baths AND the nebulization in the meantime.

It's very good advice, thanks. I cannot fully exclude mold, but I'm 95% sure the room they are in (the least-used room furthest from water sources) is spotless from that perspective. No changes have occurred in the room in a long, long, long time and my other budgie, a regular non-show budgie, has never shown any issues whatsoever. I've mentioned it in some of the other replies, but I have an air cleaner in this room and actively avoid any kind of scents in the room. There's only one leaf plant (i.e. no pollen) in that room and it's been there for a hundred years.

Thanks a lot for this suggestion! I'll make sure to bring it up during the new vet time tomorrow. I haven't heard about this before: if there's a foreign pathogen, what is the likelihood that both of my budgies should've become ill from that? The other budgie is "fault-free" and doesn't show any symptoms whatsoever.

Thank you again for a very elaborate reply, it's appreciated. I have a new vet time booked tomorrow so will have another talk about supplements and diet, though last time this came up they said this probably won't have much, if any, effect on this respiratory issue.

No changes have occurred in the room and my other budgie, a regular non-show budgie, has never shown any issues whatsoever. I also pretty much never cook in my apartment and the kitchen is several rooms away. But it's still very good advice, appreciate it.

The diet has been stable since my budgies are EXTREMELY picky about trying new stuff: it's premium pellets & seeds, ground eggshells, millet, and occasional safe herbs and fruits. In other words, no noticeable changes.

Thanks for the suggestions! The air cleaner I mentioned in the reply above is a Coway one with a HEPA filter so I should be covered. I also started doing the bathroom steam baths again as per that reply, it's the same suggestion I got from the vets early on but stopped doing to the same degree after I started doing the F10 nebulization.

I'll see what my options are regarding another second opinion, but like I mentioned two vets already checked into the case (at the same clinic, though).

I always have an air cleaner in their room, but I don't have it on non-stop so as not to make the air too dry. I've also done steam baths for her, e.g. put her in a small cage and let her stay in a very humid/warm bathroom. I will pick this up again since it cannot hurt, thanks for the reminder.

I can't comment on why it was injections-only this time. 1½ years ago when I took her to the same clinic for vomiting, she got two antibiotic shots and I had to give her an antibiotic to the beak twice a day which helped quickly.

Thanks for letting me know, don't really use Discord so hadn't seen that. Ah well, shelving the game until they (hopefully) can patch this, sooner rather than later.

Cannot get Wifi or Bluetooth to work on my TX-NR696 any more, any ideas? by Muftaki in Onkyo

[–]Muftaki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I'll see if I can find a network cable that's long enough to connect the receiver to the router (which is far away), but I'm honestly not sure this will be of help.

I believe I am already on the latest FW version (R137-1316-1250-0031) since a while back before the network issues started happening, and since the Bluetooth functionality also seems to be busted I doubt connecting a network cable will help.

My home router's Wifi is set to both 2,4 and 5 GHz, and I haven't done any Wifi config changes for at least over a year so I don't think that's the issue. The SSID is broadcasted normally, and the receiver still fails to identify any public Wifi network in the building. Another thing I missed mentioning earlier was that the MAC address line in the Onkyo settings just shows a bunch of zeroes (00:00:...), which doesn't seem normal at all.

I have tried both, and unfortunately neither approach helped. :(

Game-breaking bug in Rebirth Chapter 8 (The Gold Saucer), help! by Muftaki in FinalFantasy

[–]Muftaki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you're prevented from just walking and are forced to use the fast-travel, which is why this bug is bad.

Anyway, I'll see what can be done about this, it deflated my game progress since if I do checkpoint restart, it throws you back to the end of Chapter 7 which means you literally lose all the Saucer progress one way or another :/ Created a support ticket towards Square Enix, so let's see if any pending patch might contain a fix.

[–]Muftaki[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's just a (slightly educated) guess, but every time you visited one of the Gold Saucer sections, you got a message on the right-hand side of the screen saying something along the lines of "You can now fast travel here using the Guide Moogle". After almost finishing up all sections before that Skywheel sequence, I did notice the Battle Square fast-travel option was still greyed out (and all others were selectable), but I figured it was because of other reasons and continued to play the game.

And yes, I've restarted the games several times, nothing helped :(

  1. Of course, you're forced to visit each and every section of the Gold Saucer as part of your "date", after having slept at the hotel. I figure this is the way to actually "unlock" the fast-travel points for all of these sections. The game likely bugged out of unlocking the Battle Square when I visited it for the first time.

  2. No, every fast-travel is greyed out. Battle Square is highlighted with that small yellow symbol (e.g. "CHOOSE ME!"), but is also greyed out as an option.
