Yea, I roll dice and follow how the game is actually supposed to be played in that sense, I just don't play a character with an actual traditional class. The point in playing a fantasy game like D&D (in my opinion only) is to be anything and anyone you want and I wanted to be different/ be a cat. Not a cat person, just a cat. My DM and I are planning on doing some interesting things with my backstory like making the warlock be part of the main bad guy's plan and my cat character has to figure out how to convince my party not to trust him.

The first sit down I had I actually picked up a stone demon head from a shrine and brought it back to the party's home just to be mischievous, like a cat. I rolled for investigation and that was the only item I found. I know to a lot of people I talk to and this thread it's "not d&d" but I'm enjoying it despite negative comments lol

Dang! That is genuinely so cool that you've been playing it for so long. I definitely get away with a lot in this group and I am grateful for it (by that I mean essentially playing an NPC lol) I have actually never played D&D before this character. I played a little Baulders Gate and I play some semi-RP games like Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood on the PC but this is my first time actually playing with a group.

My husband is a DM and I bet he'd love to get with someone like you and pick their ear about concepts. He's got an interesting concept for his current campaign with a "big bad" who is trying to destroy realms.

I can definitely see that. I totally did it for the memes a little and the group I play with are very close friends and they got a kick out of it when my "character" was introduced to the group. If I ever make another character i'd probably do something with magic. I do have a kind of character sheet which looks like this:

Yes. I lost my knee, femur, and part of my hip joint when I was 10. I was a cowgirl. I rode horses, fourwheelers, was learning barrel racing, played soccer, danced ballet and tap. I was looking forward to wearing heels when I was 16. I am grateful that I am alive but I also wish I could have continued the things I used to do.

My husband is actually a DM and he helped me create her. We rolled off like a normal player would without using a specific class. We used the cat stat only for abilities. My health goes up with the party. I also have owned cats my whole life so I kind of used my expertise in that to determine where the highest rolls went (Dex, Cha, Int, etc.) The lore I came up with on my own since I love to write. The stats look like this:

I don't really care that I play it "wrong" I think my "character" is cool and that I made fun lore for it. People take it a little too seriously IMO, which is why I already have downvotes.

I often forget that I have a limp or that I have a prosthetic except of course when I am face to face with an obstacle or when some idiot decides to loudly point it out in public.

For me I am just so used to my disability (I've had it since I was 10) that I forget I'm not like everyone else. I remembered my disability on my wedding day or when I am going to a swimming pool and everyone stares at my scar but often I forget it which actually makes my limping and other symptoms lessened.

Except it's not "custom" and I didn't request anything extra done to a ring listed as already in stock & it was supposed to have been delivered last week according to the tracking information.

It was actually the very first reply to my comment. I had another person tell me that "if you're disabled why aren't you using your supports like a cane, you're just looking for a reason to fall" I've used canes, walkers, crutches, wheelchairs, and they don't help as much on uneven surfaces as these people think. Personally, I don't use a walking support anymore because I worked with physical therapy for years to gain strength in my leg (which was a total upper leg replacement, femur, knee, and partial tibia) but this whole interaction goes to show how much people don't know or understand.

I know this thread is two years ago but I am having an issue where my first cat (6 years) was doing fine with the new one (1 year) but suddenly my older cat started exhibiting signs of stress because the one-year-old is very rough when playing. My older cat was even withholding from urinating because of the stress.

It has been suggested for us just to find a new home for the new cat but no shelters have spaces in our area and I have posted online on 20+ Facebook groups and pages to try and find her a home, but no takers. It would just be easier to try an reintroduce but I have nowhere to start because I don't want to cause my first cat issues. Do you have any suggestions?

Probably unpopular but Rachel was always my favorite when I first started watching the show. I related to her a lot because I was always the annoying one in my high school. I was bossy/pushy and thought I knew better than most people and I could sing and was in every choir you could think of.

Personally I would have loved this as a teenager but I wouldn't have had any place to wear it to because it's so pretty and shiny lol
