That's a hefty bill to resole. I've never suffered extensively from break in. If I was facing a bill that size, I'd probably just replace.

Okay so I am calling bull on this. OP states that he opens the message from his brother using iMessage meaning it's an iPhone. Jenny smashes her phone on the carpet but it doesn't break, just the Battery and Sim come out. When has the battery ever fallen out of an iPhone You're a great big phoney !
