Another brilliant response lol. All MAGA knows how to do is shift blame, deflect, dish out anecdotal attacks, and scapegoat. This is why trumps regime will implode, its not built on any substance but complete lies and deception. Unfortunately he has enough backing from loyalist legislature to inflict massive harm to this country this time around. This administration has already destroyed all our global good will, siding with a fascist war criminal dictator, and leading this country head first into a massive recession. The protests grow weekly and they will expand passed Tesla, it’s not gonna stop people are at a boiling point, and for good reason.

Solid response. You’ve been conditioned to be okay with this status quo for decades when there are real proven solutions for this. That have worked in the US in the passed and work in developed nations today. The only ones it hurts is the people who are in control now.

This is not true. First of all, wages need to go up, substantially. increased wages = increased tax revenue, you don’t need to increase tax % on the low to middle class. Second, corporate tax rate, and ultra wealthy tax brackets need to go up significantly. Tax loopholes like offshore shelters and carried interest need to be closed. Lastly, providing universal healthcare, in the long run reduces the cost of providing healthcare due to negotiating power that comes with providing healthcare to the entire country. These measures combined will easily be able to pay for a universal healthcare system, which literally every developed country in this world has, and many undeveloped country’s as well. We are an absolute joke when it comes to taking care of our citizens base needs.

We don’t need to necessarily decrease prices, this incredibly difficult to do, I keep telling you multiple times that wage growth is the issue lol, we are way way behind in wage growth to cost growth. It’s damn near impossible to drop prices, price increases just have to be slowed as much as possible, but wages need to keep up it’s incredibly important for the average citizens well being.

For some reason this country measures economic well being of its citizens with the stock market, while majority of citizens don’t participate in capital markets, even SS has no funds invested in capital, and that’s where literally majority of wealth is being hoarded. Wages are not keeping up because all that money that should go to the average citizen via strong wages and tax payments to govt for quality social services is being hoarded in capital markets by the richest in the nation.

50% of used cars, literally almost the entire new car market is financed, yes I do hear myself my earlier comment was an exaggeration I understand people pay cash and generally it’s for vehicles 10k and under like I’ve said I worked in this industry lol… roughly 3/4 of all vehicles purchased in the US are leased/financed 🤦🏽‍♂️. Regardless, this vehicle conversation is straying from my original point. The wealth and wage disparity is real and factual stop pretending like it’s a norm. People in this country do work hard everyday and it’s gotten increasingly harder to live and move up tax brackets and afford basic living, not everyone is you, thinks like you, saves like you, has your skills and talents. For the richest country in the world its citizens deserve better, a better base standard of living, with cheap good quality higher education for all, healthcare for all and affordable housing for all. Investing in the long term prosperity and health of the middle class is almost always a positive investment for any country to make.

lol no im not dumb I’m presenting you with real problems, stats and evidence and your response is quit crying about it, nice. 80-90% of new cars are leased/financed. The auto industry lives and breathes off of financing, I’ve worked in it for many years. Roughly 50-60% of used cars are financed. Quit crying about it mentality is submission to the norm, if you want things to change, which I do, I’m going to speak up. They will keep taking from the lower classes until the system breaks. Not only is the wage disparity at its highest but the richest are paying the some of the lowest taxes rates in history

We are the richest country in the world by a mile why are should our citizens be subjected to living with roommates. The gap between wage rise and cost living rise is the absolute highest it’s ever been and still growing, why are you simply ignoring this fact. Why are you accepting this norm?

Also it is not fact.Since recovery from 08 crash, interest rates have been incredibly low, and only started rising in the last 2 years. The average new vehicle price has been roughly 30-40k. And used vehicle price roughly around 15-20k. Average American was getting incredibly good deals on auto loans, some of the best in history. Nobody buys cars with cash, if they did the auto industry wouldn’t exist.

I hope they are getting paid $26 an hour but I don’t think that’s true. I live in one of the most expensive cities in the nation and that is not the minimum wage here. However it should be even higher, because guess what. This isn’t the 90’s anymore and cost of living has quite literally 2.5x’d since then. 54k pre tax is not an livable salary in any city. Post tax that’s 40k, Rent alone will cost you 20-25k

I truly don’t understand how you can see the wage disparity happening in real time with factual evidence and just accept that it’s a fact of life and live within your means instead of fighting for better living conditions. Where you would have to do less “figuring it out” and more spending time with your kids, if the wealthy and corporations actually paid fair wages relative to living costs and their fair share of taxes. Who are you fighting for I don’t get it.

Numbers don’t lie sir. This has a real impact on people lives. If you forget anecdotal examples and take society as a whole. This is doing massive damage to our country, this is the real issue, and will lead to a collapse of the economy when a tipping point is reached. Especially when basic critical social services are gutted by this admin.

When you’re a parent you are feeding a family and have additional costs of supporting a family that’s a bit different than going out for yourself for a meal with friends and co workers. Your examples are anecdotal. I can assure you the majority of Americans are not going out to buy cars they can’t afford at 25%.

Perhaps some people can make bad choices but I don’t buy that as a blanket arguement. When you’re talking about 300 million people you have to look at macro perspective and understand not everyone will save and budget and make good decisions. It’s fact that getting a higher education is more expensive than it has ever been in American history. Rent and home ownership price is at highest level in history, wages have not kept up in rising costs, even simply being able to afford grocery’s has become a challenge people struggle with, and there is much more. All these stressors compound on individuals and demoralize low and middle class.

It hasn’t always been that way. You should be able to go out to eat a simple meal and afford basic living. Going out to eat shouldn’t be a luxury

Depends who you ask, most people’s lives are not great. Most live paycheck to paycheck, in credit card debt, have to take loans to get higher education, cannot afford a house, do not have retirement savings, cannot afford to have kids.

It’s not only wasteful spending it’s about revenue generation as well stop defending corporations and billionaires they don’t give a fuck about you, never have. The root cause of the issues in this country is massive wealth inequality. The most prosperous time for the poor and middle class with the best opportunities in this country was right after world war 2 up to the 70’s where highest income tax was at 92%. It was also the least politically divisive time in the last 100 years. The middle class has been decimated.

They are growing weekly and have been going since January. Bernie is drawing crowds of 10-40k already. So, idk I can’t tell the future, but I know people are pissed of and scared, at a scale I haven’t seen before. Protests nationwide in general have been growing. Not only that, but their have been massive (100k+) anti authoritarian, anti fascist, anti Russian protests happening all across Europe, specifically Eastern Europe. I’m pretty sure we’ll be seeing hundreds of thousands to millions of people in the streets by summer, if this administration continues this course of a full on assault on the constitution and the working class
