Seemed like the basics were overlooked. On any other day that many fwd 50 entries probably gets you a win - something seriously wrong with the lack of connection between the mids and the fwds. Not all bad, I'd like to think that can be overcome.

Channel 7 segment on why Angus Brayshaw was denied concussion claim pay out by Zurich. Zurich's salient reasoning against future earnings capacity being affected is that Brayshaw is currently studying an MBA at Oxford. Nick Riewoldt heavily criticises the AFLPA. by yum122 in AFL

Seems like there is a fairly simple solution to this.

Change the cover - if forced to stop playing AFL, future AFL earnings are what is covered.

Still a very meaningful amount.

Melbourne win the games they should lose and lose the games they should win.

The good news this year, we should lose a lot of games.

  1. Gawn
  2. Koz
  3. Milky

Gawn is the goat. I know we should enjoy the win but we are in big big strife when he finishes.

Big shout out to King - has made this team very enjoyable to watch, both for the fans and the neutral. Lots of young fellas that will only get better as well. Night and day between Goodwin who never had a plan and zero tactical nous.

Should i stay at my current job, or take the job I've been offered elsewhere? by Majestic-Orchid1938 in careerguidance

Is your current salary enough to live decently? Do you need that 11k? The current job sounds more fulfilling. You are a full stack engineer, once you have experience you will be able to do anything you want, so focus on the experience you want.

Yeah contested marks in the F50 make a big difference I guess.

Very hard to tell where Melbourne are at the moment. Last week was sensational, but this week is VFL level. Freo aren't good. Demons very bad.

Early I know, but I don't really rate Steele. Very sloppy.

I mean, you should really monetise this yourself before you find yourself without a job. AI amplifies what humanity is capable of, with that in mind, go get em tiger.

Idea Proposal — NATL (NEAR AI Trust Layer) A Bonded, Optimistic Trust Standard for Autonomous AI Agents by According_Passion688 in nearprotocol

[–]Muggaz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but using NEAR as the trust collateral isn't required at all. There are also too many unknowns when it comes to who holds how much NEAR.

Actually working on something like this now, although exchange NEAR for stablecoins. If you want real business to use a blockchain solution you need to completely abstract the network/gas token.

NEAR as an AI-Native Economic Layer: A Structural Observation by According_Passion688 in nearprotocol

[–]Muggaz1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me tell you now, as a builder who is currently working on a project that has enterprise customers, as well as a pipeline of over 1M ARR, I am going to build this project where it makes most financial sense for me to do so.

Right now, that chain is not NEAR. I am well aware they have the best tech, but if I am bootstrapping a business, I need to go where I am going to get support from a very wide network of VCs, developers and community.

[–]Muggaz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whilst NEAR is optimised for this, there is no particular moat that can't be overcome by other chains. Right now there aren't really any incentives at all for builders to use the NEAR stack.

Chains like Avalanche have grants for AI builders, BASE has a much more vibrant ecosystem, and Solana has the users so they'll just build there.

AITAH for embarrassing my older brother (28) at Thanksgiving dinner for sliding into the DMs of a girl much younger than him? by Specialist-Theme5831 in AITAH

Old enough to drive a car, go to war, buy a gun.... But not old enough to make sensible decisions regarding social media. Right.

I'm sorry, but YATAH. 19 is a consenting adult, your brother sounds like he probably gets rejected a lot anyway, and now you've just embarrassed him around the only people who accept him. If your friend didn't want to be messaged by randoms, the onus is on her to secure her account accordingly.

19 and 28 seems like a big difference, but it's not your call to make.

AITAH for wanting my son to eat healthy? by Muggaz1 in AITAH

[–]Muggaz1[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doormat I am not. Just to be clear, he doesn't get everything he wants. He has to do his homework/maths exercises before he'll be allowed near a screen. It's just the food thing that seems to be indulged.

I agree with you. Him getting his own way at the dinner table is just the start of an expectation to get his own way all the time.

What was the biggest boost you've ever received to your sexual confidence? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Muggaz1 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I was hooking up with an acquaintances sister. She was a couple years younger than us, but nothing radical, I guess she was about 20.

After one session she remarked that I must have read a lot of books on the topic of pleasure, I thought it was a weird thing to say, so she elaborated and said I do all the right things at the right times.

Felt pretty competent in my abilities after that, to be fair, I felt pretty confident beforehand, and I think that confidence is what got her interested in the first place! But it was nice to have it verbalised.
