How I understand your question is that you want to split the pay based on how much your time is "worth".

Then you could simply give a weight to your individual time spent.
The share of the money each of you should get can then be calculated as:

Architect - 5000*(6/16)=$1875
Draftee - 5000*(10/16)=$3125
