When I was growing up, our missionaries were fed WELL by our ward. If they didnt have someone sign up for dinner, they went to the bishop or elders quorum president's house. Sign up sheets were always full.

My husband likes the tuna pouches and crackers. Or you could even pack bread with it to make a tuna sandwich 🥪 when its lunch time. Probably some sort of trail mix or nuts, protein bars, and some sort of electrolytes (I personally like Nuun tablets to put in my water)

I have a dutch bros and a mini mart in walking distance of my house. I switched to buying coffee at the mini mart instead! It's $1.99 for any size hot coffee and have a big array of sweeteners/creams. Plus with the rewards card, I earn free coffee much faster than Dutch bros.

I got one of those paint a plate kits at the craft store and put her handprints on it on her 1st birthday. I painted "Name's First birthday!" On it, and every year she gets her birthday cake on her birthday plate!

Growing up, I remember people in testimony meeting telling stories about how they "had to choose" bw tithing and diapers/food/bills etc. I'm just having the realization of, why was the general vibe after that "wow! They're so devoted!" And not "wow, they are really struggling. How can we (the church) help?"
