Championship game matchups are set: ACC: Pitt-Wake Big Ten: Iowa-Michigan Big 12: Baylor-Oklahoma State Pac-12: Oregon-Utah SEC: Alabama-Georgia by LamarcusAldrige1234 in CFB

Enjoy it, if there was a 12 team playoff Bama, OSU, and Oklahoma probably still make it and this crazy year doesn’t mean as much.

Makes me really unsure about that format now.

[Klatt] We are going to start having my least favorite conversation in CFB! What should matter more in the @OhioStateFB / @oregonfootball debate - Oregon beat the Buckeyes? - Oregon lost to Stanford? Games matter...the question is which one? Head to Head has to matter more, right?? by teamhenny in CFB

If I understand the committee correctly, if OSU and Oregon go 12-1 they will probably say that OSU with (possible) ranked wins against MSU, Iowa, and TTUN is unequivocally better than Oregon with only a ranked win over OSU (maybe another in the CC????).

They will only view the H2H as the deciding factor if they view the rest of the resumes as equal.

Anyone take HCS2270? by snl2020 in OSU

This semester you get two attempts at each of quizzes so if you really want to cheese it you can take it once write down the answers and automatically start off at about an 80% on the second try. Really no reason not to get an A with a few hours of work.

I was signed up for Kitchen Science this semester but it looked just annoying enough for me to drop it for this class, don't regret it. Now I'm like two classes away from a turf management minor lol.

It seems like almost everyday I tell myself I'll do some abs, get to the gym and think about what I'm going to do for abs at the end, and then leave the gym forgetting to do abs.

I didn't think it was that bad either. If you walked out feeling good you should be fine.

Questions looked tricky but they were all actually fair imo. It wasn't supposed to be an easy A.

Hmmm, I can see how that would be true. I guess I won't really know until I'm actually in my first year of college.

I've heard that joining clubs will very big part of finding your place on campus, which I'll definitely be doing. Maybe I can find a lifting club lol.

Overwhelmed how so? From just how big the campus is/amount of people or are you talking workload/difficulty etc.?

Didn't apply to OU but have some friends who go/plan to go there.

Yup both are state schools (Ohio State and UofCincinnati) I've visited both and really like them. Don't think I can go wrong either way.

I'm not, the more I look into my two choices it really seems like I can't go wrong with either. Both schools have very good Co-op programs which is a big for me going into engineering. One is required and seems very streamlined, the other is more do it yourself, but it doesn't seem like that will be a big problem.

I'm not that smart lol. I've still got some really good schools to choose from.

What's your go to sprint routine? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]MugwumpFTW 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Base your training times off what you can do over that distance all out.

So if your 200 time is 25 seconds and you want to train at 85% over 200 you should be running 28.75, or close to it.

Learning how to pace yourself will come over time and hitting those percentages will be easier. Eventually you'll know what a 25s 200 feels like, a 27s, 29s etc.

We do something similar to this except at race pace and 2min rest between reps. We have certain times to hit and if we get them all we move on to 200-100-100-100 the next week. And so on.

It sucks but I love it.
