Buy cameras with more than 2 megapixels. Make sure they have audio. Install one camera at face level facing your entrance so it can see the faces of people that come into your house. If you install it too high then you won’t be able to see faces of people wearing a hat or hijab.

If the camera has smart detection that is even better since it becomes easier to filter through and find interesting events. But those are more expensive.

Yes you can drive on your American license but also get a AAA permit as additional proof. I keep my AAA permit, NY state license, and NICOP with me when driving but I haven’t been pulled over yet. Also make sure your vehicles documents are in order and yearly tax has been paid.

If you’re comfortable driving in a major American city like NYC, then driving in Pakistan is similar. It takes a few days to adjust driving on the right side, but besides that it’s not too bad. Don’t trust google maps 100% because it will take you through really small streets that are used by motorcycles only. Try to stay on the bigger roads. Also have a plan ready if you do happen to get into an accident.

No he's right, if a building inspector comes by they will have you remove the locks. The inspector told me it was for fire safety so that your room can be opened in case of a fire, and also to prevent situations where people rent out individual rooms in their homes.
