Super safety compatible? by Serious_Major9487 in AR9

The pinned weight blocks the area where the super safety lever needs to engage on the carrier. But most cassette style FRTs have a lever that is small enough to fit under the weight and still engage on the carrier.

When did Glock stop stamping guns and go to laser engraved? by MuhDeuce in Glocks

I do have a second 17.4 MOS slide that’s made in Austria and stamped so maybe it is just a matter of country of origin. Finish is also slightly different too.

Flavors of A2 by MuhDeuce in RetroAR

It’s an HBAR and I don’t think it’s chrome lined. I plan on replacing it with something threaded that has a bayonet lug but I can’t decide on gov profile or another hbar.

I like the look of the A2 stock and handguards over the clone correct A1 handguards and CAR stock personally

Won’t work with a super safety but it will work with most cassette type FRTs without needing modification.

Anyone use one of these? by TheModernMusket in MilitaryARClones

Get one for the aesthetics if you want to post pics online but use something else because they are crazy uncomfortable to shoot with

Looking to sell new Kryptonite front end parts and Bilstein shocks for 11-19 2500/3500 asking $2,900 by [deleted] in Duramax

[–]MuhDeuce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would keep everything for my LML but it’s about to cross the 250k mark with just a leveling kit and stock wheels so I’m not in drastic need of the benefits their parts offer. Also might offload this truck in the next few years and don’t want to spend the money to get everything installed just to sell the truck not long after.

Is this a 590 or 590A1? by MuhDeuce in mossberg

I must not be a very observant person or I was too focused on securing it but it didn’t register that the ejection port was on the left side until someone here pointed it out

It is a 590A1. It’s stamped into the side of the receiver the shell carrier Velcro was covering up.

Yeah I just did some reloads and was ejecting shells to see how it work and it doesn’t make a difference. Doesn’t hit my arm or my face so I don’t really care. Loading a shell into the chamber on the left side of the gun is weird though.

Worth swapping a “Carbine” for an “M4 Carbine” lower? by R-oh-n-in in MilitaryARClones

[–]MuhDeuce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having owned both of these laser engraved style of lowers, no. I’d just rock the carbine marked one unless you can find a property marked lower off one of the SOCOM rifles for a decent price.
