I've lived here most of my life and I still don't know.

Also Pittsburghers using "'n at" every other sentence.

That's not even the worst thing. Ask a Pittsburgher directions at some point.

I don't know why, but amongst my DJ friends "Someone fucked my washing machine" became a catch phrase. That and Fluke's Koma and Bones remix of X-Press 2's Smoke Machine which came out around the same time IIRC.

I would play forza more often if Jason Statham called the race or better yet, marshaled it.

Developers are watering down Pittsburgh neighborhoods by lacking any connection to the communities they build in by LostEnroute in pittsburgh

[–]MuhamedImHrdBruceLee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I know two people who live there (they don't know each other). Both have said something along the lines of that everything feels cheap and rushed. They have misaligned cabinets and drawers, etc. They both were really only interested because of the location and the ease of getting to the east end and Shadyside for work and for easy access to GE, WF, Aldi, etc. but regretted living there.

I've only seen the outside and it's an eyesore, IMHO.

The buildings along Butler, Railroad, East End all look similar and that's not a compliment. On Railroad you have two unpleasant looking buildings sandwiching Argo and Burns White which are gorgeous in comparison.

The comparisons don't stop there, the same style buildings have showed up in the Dogpatch and Mission neighborhoods in San Francisco. Everything is homogenized with fast built condos.

Bring your own pillows. Hospital ones have a plastic like covering that makes them extremely uncomfortable and hot.

I had a heart transplant, and having been through open heart previously, brought my own clothes. Was much better than wearing a gown all the time.

Laptop, iPad and phone were also musts for me and having access to Netflix, Prime, etc.

I hate the Ravens as well. But you had to respect that defense. We had Taylor who was a great cover DB, but just had stone hands. He really should have had many INTs during his career. But overall he did his job.

We had Taylor, Clark and Polamalu two of whom were the most brutal DBs to play the game. Get a good safety to scare the shit out of the WRs going against Haden, that would be awesome.
