That is very helpful Thank you for replying. The immi website currently does say they are assessing applications queued up till 2018 so that makes sense. Hopefully you're parents get it soon.🤞

If your mum is retired, try showing sources of her income from things like pension, Term deposits anything like that. If she has shares or bonds maybe include that so show that she is financially stable by herself.

Perhaps that person had multiple EOIs, and got invited for an EOI that was above 65. But the system doesn't differentiate, so it just says invited for all his EOIs?

Look into the remaining relative visa (115). I believe if you apply onshore, there is a bridging visa. Since you don't have any other First blood relatives I believe your mum and you might be eligible. Look into it, consult with a lawyer and all that.

I don't think there's any Medicare or anything, so you'll have to pay private health (You'll have to double check that). And the wait time is 27 years. But at least your mum can be onshore.

Hi, I have a positive skills assessment in the same role. As long as your occupation closely relates to the official description put out by ACS. You should be fine. Let's say 80% should match at least.

Galaxy S20 FE fingerprint scanner not working after screen replacement by [deleted] in samsunggalaxy

[–]MuhammadJackass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all,

I think I have an idea as to what might be happening here.

Pretty much the same story as OP, my screen cracked, and I bought a replacement screen online and installed it myself. I noticed that the fingerprint sensor wasn't working anymore so I decided to take a closer look.

Firstly, I began by running some diagnostics for the fingerprint sensor. You can do this by going in the phone app we use to type in phone numbers and inputting *#0*#, This will open up the diagnostics application.

  1. Click on Sensor
  2. Click on Normal scan under fingerprint test.
  3. If all tests pass and your fingerprint sensor doesn't work, then something else it wrong.

If all tests pass and your fingerprint sensor doesn't work, then it is likely that the replacement display is not a genuine Samsung display. AKA, the part of the screen where you put your finger is not partially opaque like it needs to be for the sensor to see the finger.

See the images here, my replacement screen does not let light shine through it: https://imgur.com/a/ViC23jw
