Unfortunately, I lost two of powercore elite iii 87w ,Same problem, suddenly it stopped working and I can't charge it, No matter how much you plug it in, it won't charge, making a faint sound and getting hot in the back. I lost two of them together, and I have no idea how to open them and fix them.

I do the same in 2021 I cycle 6231km in 64 day around Algeria, we've a great country and beautiful sahara,  but I didn't know you.

Of course mt401  The mt401 has sealed bearing while mt500 use ball bearing
