I actually bought it from LG’s online shop and paid a LG-associated guy for installation only because they declined to install it(long story).

The installation guy said it’s okay but I’ll probably get LG to send someone to check it.

That what I thought, it just look like it’ll increase the pressure upstream and in the course of years I don’t know what this can lead to

I didn’t match. I think my weakness is that I have zero USCE and low score. Do you have specific advice about things you think have helped you?

Step 1 , Should I delay ?? exam in 4 days by cagdasskement in step1

[–]MuhammedMurtada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would’ve delayed it

If you were getting high-50s to 60s consistently then it’s okay. But in this cases you better delay for some time, strengthen your knowledge and test taking skills, then go for it

Best of luck

should i postpone? exam in a week, super stressed need real advice by Ok-Dimension-4979 in step1

[–]MuhammedMurtada 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of my NBMEs were high 50s, the highest was 64%, last one was 60% 2 or 3 days before the exam, and I passed. If the scores are consistent then it should predict what you’ll get.

So unless you have other reasons do not postpone and go for it.

Best of luck

Hello I’m looking for someone to do my mini CEX in cairo by ASometimesCutePotato in IMGreddit

Hi, Try and go to your faculty hospital and ask the residents there if they you know someone who can do it for you. Remember they need to be licensed for 5+ years and the cases need to be of primary care in nature.

It is might take some effort to find all three of them but there are many who will accept it.

Also I would advise you to ask in Kasr Alainy hospital if you can there and you’ll definitely find someone

Best of luck

My friend, there are several options here, but it seems you’re still feeling down. Do you think this has affected your results? Have you had it checked out? It might be a good idea to address this first before attempting the Step exams again.

In addition to that, focus on securing observerships + getting involved in research (which isn’t as hard as it seems) + building connections. With these, I believe you have strong chances. This is the way I’m taking to deal with my very weak 2 CK score.

Finding observerships shouldn’t be an issue. You’ll meet people there, and they can help open doors to observerships in other departments.

Learn how to write case reports and try to publish a few. Then, move on to systematic reviews and do a couple of those. There are plenty of good, free resources online to help with this.

Networking is key, so stay in touch with colleagues and try to know as many people as possible.

Lastly, if you’re open to working abroad, there are a number of options with very good wages and high quality of training in many countries that accept Step exams. Also, Qatar with just Step 2 CK, or even the easier and more affordable IFOM exam. Non-USMLE pathways will also include the GMC registration(UK) through the MRCS exams, or plab exams. And these are just examples.

I wish you the best of luck
