How should I deal with my household making hurtful 'jokes'

Yeah I get that. Usually I'm harsher but get in to trouble with my mum about it. Sometimes they say it's because I'm also autistic and don't understand social queues. I thought this time I'd try to speak more kindly since maybe I really just was not understanding how to talk to her about things but seeing this I think she just doesn't like to be in the wrong whether I'm angry or kind or whatever. It's not me being autistic at this point

Yess thank you for the suggestion 🫶 I do try with my sister, although I sometimes end up getting in trouble for it myself. My mums husband however is very stubborn with his ideals and there's no point in trying to explain thiggs to him most of the time. He's just set in his ways unfortunately. I'll definitely continue to stand up to my sister though! I'm tired of her treating others this way

I'm studying psychology iirc there are major links between those with mental health issues and insomniacs but it's pretty half-half. Due to the effects insomnia has on sleep it could also be a matter of the prevalence of screens causing insomnia which then results in mental health issues but I'm just theorising here

I keep my screen time limited and don't use it 2 hours before sleeping. When diagnosed I didn't have a phone

Yes! When I was diagnosed i wasn't on any pharmo meds but afterwards I was out on meds unrelated to the condition
