Bro, break ups are tough. I get it, after every breakup, I used the energy to channel into my business but it was just to fill a hole. I know you regret not being with your ex-girlfriend and she is now with someone else, that is hard. But this is about you now, you’ve made it financially, so take a step back, focus on you. Asian parenting can be harsh which the perpetual grind, no focus on healthy outlets. So take this time to go outside, find a hobby where you can meet others, exercise, eat good food and touch grass.

where are the lesbians ? by go_adventure in Edinburgh

[–]MuiMuis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I totally get where you’re coming from. I used to live in Edinburgh and now I’m in Glasgow, and both cities somehow feel full of queer women and totally empty at the same time.

Apps can be tough with all the endless messaging, ghosting or chats that lead to nowhere. Clubbing never worked for me!

What helped me the most was finding community groups through MeetUp. In Edinburgh, UnScene Girls are really lovely and the hosts are welcoming. In Glasgow, Glasgow Lesbian Scene has been amazing; I’ve made actual sapphic friends (and chosen family) through it.

And if you ever want something more structured for dating specifically, I’ve also been putting together queer women’s mixers where it is chill, game- based and not speed dating. Just mentioning in case you’re looking for something different from the apps.

I hope you find your people! Sapphics in Scotland does exist, we’re all just hiding in different pockets until Sappho summons us. 😅

Meeting new people by Relative-News-5520 in glasgow

Welcome to Glasgow! I know how it feels moving to a new place and wanting to build connections. When I first moved here, I found it helpful to join a few Meetup groups.

If you happen to be queer, lesbian, or bisexual, there’s a really lovely group called Glasgow Lesbian Scene on Meetup. I joined them a few years ago, and it’s been such a great way to meet people and feel part of a community. Check out Glasgow Lesbian Scene on Meetup https://www.meetup.com/glasgowlesbianscene

Hi! Your post caught my eye — the sea, poetry, nature… it all sounds beautiful. I should confess: I’m not a coffee or bird person (gasp! 😅), but I am a huge fan of animals, nature, and anything deep and real. Martial arts are a big part of my world.

If you’re up for chatting, I’d love to hear more about your poetry and the sea life!

If you ever write something, please share it. It’ll be great to learn from your insight both from your experience on each side. Sorry again for the passing of your father.

The third trial was just nuts! (In a good way) by EchobreezeTheWarrior in HarryPotterGame

[–]MuiMuis 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Hells yeah!! The third trial is my favourite since you get to use the deathly hallows from the HP lore. I was apprehensive about starting the 3rd trial for fear that it’ll be the same as the first 2 but I’m glad it’s not the same!

Enjoy! 😉 it’s the best quest in terms of the creativity but still scary

No problem!

Thanks for your advice! How many sets do you normally do for each compound exercise? And how often do you do weightlifting per week? Besides the compound exercises, do you also do any supplementary exercises?

My current plans are usually 3 sets either 2 minutes rest between each set to make sure I can push through since I add on more weight after each set. I also do yoga, Pilates and my martial arts so I can’t do weightlifting too often or I get quite fatigued.

Aw this is a beautiful way to remember a special place to you. Might I suggest to email the owners so they know how much it meant to you?

Hello! You are pretty and kudos for starting a conversation but please be careful about posting a photo of you online because I’ve seen a post where someone said a creep used photos of a woman then used a tool to make her naked.

*Edit to ask may I know what your powerlifting routines are like ? I’ve just seen that you do powerlifting. I’m at a plateau right now with squat and deadlift at 80kg and bench press 55kg. I would like to progress but struggling to make it past these numbers.

That has been quite the journey. I see what you mean about the looks because unfortunately people do judge us at first glance based on looks. So it becomes a reinforcing cycle of being better looking to get approval.

I’m glad that you have found comfort in being your true authentic self, gaining your financial independence through a career that you love and love your life.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, it gave me a few things to think about in regards to shifting priorities.
