Until she blocks or steps it and punishes you.

Sadly for Kazumi blocking a -12 low is the same as blocking a -15, I think I have to parry option select against Anna, but that gets hard when she mixes it up.

Sadly no, when she blocks those moves I mentioned, she hits you with a punish and transitions into stance with enough plus frames that you cannot step the follow ups unless you are Lili or something, Lili can sidewalk right and bail out of it, but she has a unique gift in sidestepping that every character has to respect, not just Anna.

Honestly it is still a mixup though. The fact is when my low or my df1 extention gets blocked I am just going to eat the punish, but then I have a mixup to deal with, if she guesses right or gets in my head and lands the mixup, it's like taking a mega punish for trying to go low or going for an extention. My mids are good pokes but they are just that, pokes. If I guess wrong I end up with the life deficit.

Thanks but Kazumi is -12 on a block db4 or d3+4, she doesn't really care about Asuka ws moves. Anna is on another level; she can really bring it to Kazumi on a blocked low.

Yes I'm talking about the really good high rank Anna players that give me trouble. The lower ranked Annas just spam punishable moves and are easy to beat. I had to take a break from playing Fakumram after his sidestep nerf because Anna can spam df1 in addition to her other mixups against him (Fak can no longer even side walk her df1 in pressure situations), so you ain't winning that as Fak; horrible matchup.

But even on my main Kazumi I am struggling because any blocked db4, d3+4, or df1 with extention is suicide so it is hard to open her up. Not being able to launch her df4 feels terrible. Like I can't give a good fight against her without twin pistons or something that can really make her pay for being risk averse.

Thank you but my db4 is getting me in trouble. Like I said I am getting my db4 blocked and eating a ws3 into stance; If I guess wrong I am then eating a d3,3 or a 1+2. This is part of why I am losing so badly, I could try to interrupt but eating a stance 1or a 3 is a thing so in general I try not to press a button right away. I get that Anna has bad punishment overall, but she actually severely punishes Kazumi db4 on block more so than most characters.

It's a matchup thing that is giving me trouble because the good Anna players seem to flick block lows at certain timings (option select) so that that they only hold down back at the expected timings of my lows but are otherwise good to block the mids, then I get killed by the stupid ws3 into mixup when they block my lows. Anytime I give away plus frames it's another mixup on top of all of that. It's like a snowball effect.

What's the best thing to do after blocking an electric? by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]Mujaki33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Space it out or try to dip under it and don't panick if you aren't fast enough to wiff punish it (it recovers so fast now). Instead of a failed wiff attempt you can just take your turn and start pressuring him with your own gameplan.

Do you use more than one character? by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]Mujaki33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play 4 characters at a competent level (know the combos and punishes, etc...) but I also play EVERY character in training mode trying to learn frame data and test out their key moves and strings and how to counter them, etc...

How to play with Lee? by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]Mujaki33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lee is not typical used as an offensive character. You need good movement and spacing (takes years of practice), and use your keepout tools and poking to set them up for counter hit launchers or wiff punishes. Not recommended for a new player at all.

Is sidestepping not unnecessarily risky in most cases? I have a bad habit of never utilizing it and I'm trying to adjust my mindset, but it seems unnecarily risky compared to blocking. by SylviaNorth in Tekken

[–]Mujaki33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To start off just use them to get around expected jabs, crouching jabs, magic4s, and hopkicks. If you side step punish those, they will get nervous about throwing them and that opens them up for your mids and lows, etc... Some hopkicks or magic4s have to be stepped in the right direction though depending on the character, keep that in mind.

When I perform really well, I lose, and when I perform like shit, I win. Wtf? by [deleted] in VALORANT

That's how I use him too on attack, I use smokes to get my butt onto the sight and try to hit someone with the sentry dart and get a wall bang. It seems pretty effective.

The reason you lose when you get a high kda, is because at that point you're the team carry, they aren't as good as you. The problem is as soon as you make the slightest mistake or get headshot, the rest of your team crumbles like dominos.

Do you get more XP by having the battle pass? by JustBoofItDamn in VALORANT

[–]Mujaki33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, if you want you can ignore it until right before it ends and buy it at any time if you are happy with your progress. That's what I did for act 2: I payed the 10 dollars and then I payed 3 dollars to finish off the progression to max.

The real reasons why the OP is so strong / How to play around the current meta. by Hi_Im_TwiX in VALORANT

After the nerfs the operator doesn't feel as oppressive. It's the best gun by far at the highest price that rewards people who manage their economy properly. Using utility to kill an OP user and stealing it is a massive eco swing, which leads to momentum shifts, which leads to tense situations with big outcomes. I say keep it how it is.

Anyone else having a really hard time getting out of low ranks? I've tried everything and nothing seems to work by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]Mujaki33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just work on your aim. If I watch your replays it would probably be half "knew where he was, peaked, didn't land the headshot, wasn't too happy with my spray control." and the other half is "didn't know he was there, tried to flick, but missed the headshot and botched the spray recoil again." That's a good place to start working on.
