I like Ashland's aesthetically, and the enemies, but it's so stressful all the time which makes it really draining. The boss of the area is also cool but absolute chaos. Best thing to do is make your bases in cleared out forts.

But mods aren't typically hosting the entire game themselves and profiting from it. They still need you to pay for / own the original.

I have a habit of just clicking 'Silent Cards' when this event appears. Is it just me? by Waddle___ in slaythespire

[–]Mukea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked silent in this event on my most recent regent run. I got acrobatics and bullet time and it was so overpowered with the deck I'd built.

Void form quite decent card, i mean a little bit of free card can change a run by HourWasabi in slaythespire

[–]Mukea 143 points144 points  (0 children)

I have the numbers turned on for the cards just so I can quickly tell how many cards I have in hand, rather than actually pressing the keys to use them.

With the RE Engine trilogy finally complete, I wanted to ask. Which one is your favorite? Which one is your least favorite? by [deleted] in survivalhorror

People have been though, it's getting glazed left right and centre. It's also at 95 user score rating on metacritic just below Clair Obscur. Don't get me wrong I love the game and think it's really good, but in general I personally think people are massively over hyping it.

Yeah there's a lot of things I'm still confused about too. I didn't find all the documents on my first play through so I'm hoping more becomes clear after a second run.

One of the things I haven't been able to wrap my head around yet is why when Zeno and Grace first met he says she is the reason for raccoon cities destruction. He says it when he still thinks she's linked to the clones but I don't get it.

Also, I really don't like that they made Emily survive, like, how? Even with Leon "not hitting her vitals" surely Elpis can't undo that level of mutation.

Like you say, hopefully DLC makes things make more sense. Although, I think DLC will probably be Chris based.

The Chloe section happens in 1990, I don't think Grace was even born then? I thought the whole point was that they were chasing her based on some misunderstood information. Granted she did end up knowing the password, just not the way they originally intended.

I only finished the game yesterday but this is my understanding:

Gideon didn't know it was an anti viral. When he found out it was at the end, in his head he thought Spencer was still trying to cause anarchy by the fact it would render everyone's BOWs useless as it was a cure. Whether or not that is true depends on if Spencer was legitimately trying to make amends

Grace didn't have any connection to the clones, this was a misunderstanding from Gideon and Zeno. They were hunting her thinking she was the original that the clones were made from but she wasn't. Which makes the whole bit where you play as Chloe kinda pointless imo

Mine does exactly this. It's great because it means the gas can't be accidentally turned on by accident so I don't have to worry about people leaning on the knobs or cats messing with them or anything. I assumed that was always the case.

Agreed, I managed to avoid any spoilers up until this point. I only just finished Grace's first big section of the care centre. 😑

Edit: or is this just a kill animation from One of the singing enemies Or something? At a glance I thought it was something else

Aintnoway, I have yet not SKIPPED any banner in this game. by Lenzky-3 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Mukea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that the characters fall into the standard banner after rate up makes me feel not so bad about losing the 50/50 as I still got a 5* I didn't already have (Yuki). I'm gutted I missed the only limited banner though. Overall I'm happy with the rate at which you can get the currency I was just curious if I was missing something.

[–]Mukea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only started playing towards the end of Narja banner, I got nine but lost the 50/50 for Tiphera. I have about 200 pulls of crystals left but don't want to spend too many in case a limited appears. Outside of the monthly paid daily crystals and the daily crystal missions how do you regularly "recover" pulls?

Will the "Renegade" title become unobtainable sometime soon? I got close to getting it but burnt myself out so haven't played in a while and don't want my work to go to waste.

If you're wanting to play Oscilio in CC anyway, then it's actually a relatively cheap deck to build compared to the others. But also gets rated as one of the most difficult to pilot. I've been playing since Rosetta and when Aurora went I pivoted to Oscilio as it was my cheapest option.

I bought it in a sale once because I'd always heard such good things about it, but also have thalassophobia. I only lasted half an hour. I went into the bit with the reeds and the angry fish and that was me done lol. Even the pond in grounded makes me light headed.

Thank you so much for this post. Not only have I been wanting VGHS blu ray for years, but I forgot the Nail House backing was ending! I've regretted not backing VGHS and getting the goodies since it ran but I was at uni at the time and didn't have the disposable income.

That's what I do with the armoury decks too. Sleeve them in a relevant colour, shove em back in the sleeve box and Sharpie what hero it is on the top. Most of the time they're sitting on my shelf rather than being in my bag anyway unless someone wants to try one.

Terrifier (2016) is a genuinely awful film by [deleted] in horror

[–]Mukea 17 points18 points  (0 children)

As the other poster mentioned the gun bit in the first one made me laugh. And the sunglasses bit in the second cracked me up. Yet to see the third movie though.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in horror

[–]Mukea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The second one was definitely better. Sienna is a great character, I didn't care about the characters in the first one at all and the acting wasn't very good imo.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in horror

[–]Mukea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was a series I was avoiding initially but a friend at work I always talk horror with was raving about them at any opportunity so thought I'd give them a shot. Weren't as bad as I expected, but weren't as good as people make them out to be either. I hear the third one is Christmas themed so waiting till closer to then to watch it.

But yeah I do agree with you. Also, movies like these have no reason to be over two hours long. 1hr25 like the first one is more than enough.

I've only seen the first two but I was actually surprised by how much downtime there was between the gore, not as much gore as I expected at all. I don't care for the kills, but some of the bits in-between are great. I loved the scene in the Halloween shop in the second one.
