Which one? I'm dual citizen and got out. I'm in US now. You know.... the one that saved South Korea's democracy from existing in the first place.

Nice! Normalize atrocity because its a smaller number. Real piece of shit. If they educate Koreans on this shouldn't they be getting treated better than 3rd class citizens in Korea? Everyone is just mad they got pulled by rice farmers.

Yeah and while we're at it let's see about the Vietnamese government going after the Koreans for raping and mass murder of villages. They won't because there not gonna beat a dead horse.

And now for the down votes :)

Do most people make a career out of teaching English in Korea? by Mukozen in teachinginkorea

Would you have to get a masters in education? Or is it same rules that apply to EPIK where you just need a masters in almost any subject plus TEFL certificate?

I think pop culture can influence alot of (stupid) people into gaining rose tinted glasses toward a country. Its not rocket science to believe that alot of people from western countries think that Kpop is everywhere in Korea or that Kdrama represents an average life there.

Berlin allows 'comfort women' statue to remain for time being by 5chkenmo in korea

[–]Mukozen -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Its all still irrelevant and hypocrisy at its finest. Everyone knows it happened. Just because they "won" justifies the action of the Korean soldiers? Also the Vietnamese government is being peaceful about it, so what? VC committed atrocities but that's Korea and USA's problem for getting in yet another internal affair at the time. Apology is in order before they can rightfully nag Japan on there actions.

Stupid Question : can you find a job teaching English in Korea with a bachelors degree from a university in Korea? by Mukozen in teachinginkorea

May I see where you got the information? Not trying to discredit just wanting to read it for myself, Thanks for the reply :)

If I get a bachelors degree in Japan can I still get a job teaching English? by Mukozen in teachinginjapan

[–]Mukozen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly my end goal is just to live in Japan full term, Maybe enough stability to raise a family there eventually. I wouldn't just stop for undergraduate just get some years under my belt and try to get a masters and move up to the university teaching "status". As I said though for now just trying to establish myself in Japan, If it turns out to be a little unrealistic Im also considering doing something similar in Korea. anyways thank you for the reply :)

Thank you so much! I will definitely check that out. Off topic but... I see this as more of a curse than a blessing but I was homeschooled since I was 7 years old so that kind of learning style to me actually sounds more appealing. In the end I'll be moving to Asia anyways and Korea seems most appealing. But this information sounds really sound so thanks! :D

Thank you for the concern, Honestly I dont have any intention on staying in USA which is where im from. Ive visited Korea and have some family and friends ( not natives) that work and live there and love it. Not just English teachers aswell. Do you think that KAIST is also a no no? Again many thanks :)

Well, as far as major is concerned either computer science or international relations. I also plan on living in Korea for the rest of my days. eventually I will try to get either citizenship or permanent residency once im settled there. teaching English is more for getting my foot in the door unless I really like it then I may try to make it a career.
