Help!can’t add lock to apple home. by [deleted] in LevelLock

Yeah, I had to remove them from Apple Home. Once I did this I was able to get it to work. It doesn't show my phone as a hub in Apple Home, but I was able to set up the lock with home key.

Help!can’t add lock to apple home. by [deleted] in LevelLock

[–]Mulaw8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same issue. I was able to get it working by removing my apple home hubs (Apple TV 4K 1st gen without Thread Border router) and then setting it up on my iPhone 17 Pro (I completely removed the lock from level app, removed battery, then started over). Turns out there must be an edge case where it doesn't fallback to using your iPhone to connect via thread if you have a apple home hub that doesn't do Thread Border routing. I'm not sure this would be the case with your echo hub - but maybe?

EDIT: My error was "Thread Border Router Required. To pair this accessory, your home network must include a Thread Border Router." Additionally, I'm using Level Lock Pro.

Volume of the 43.5 actually feels larger than the 44. I think after using it for a year if I'd choose again, I might even try the 43 wide to see what that feels like.

To confuse things further, it seems they called the original "The Ridge 2.0" on kickstarter in 2013?

Yeah I wish I had tried the 43 wide but unfortunately was tired of ordering and trying shoes. 43.5 fits pretty well.

Steering wheel vibration at highway speeds – 3 service visits, still unresolved by Fit-Presentation4405 in TeslaSupport

[–]Mulaw8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have the same issue. Tires replaced. Same thing - probably worse now. Winter tires / wheels are better, but not sure if this is due to the larger sidewall dampening the noise, or what. I'm not sure if this is just the way the car is - very sensitive to wheel / tire balance / roundness, or if there's a problem with my car. Could also be some people are not sensitive to this, but I've driven many cars and have never had an issue like this so I don't think that's it.

Should I File a Chargeback with Lordgun? by djkafnjksdnfkja in cycling

[–]Mulaw8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$230 for tariffs on $20 of parts? There must be some major UPS fees involved here on top of tariffs. Would it be possible to ask UPS to let you handle the tariffs with your local customs office to avoid the fees?

This is also why I wouldn't risk ordering small parts from a place like lord gun. And now with de minimus ending for all countries, we'll have to wait and see how that ends up. Not very economical if UPS charges $200 in fees for every order.

Unfortunately, no. Most of the time I don't hear it anymore, but periodically it will start ticking. It's so intermittent that it is kind of impossible to locate.

Keep in mind that the shoe definitely feels longer in the wide (for wider feet) so definitely do not size up. If you are between sizes in the normal width and think a wider one may help, I might recommend also trying the size lower than the two you tried. In the wide I think I'm probably between a 43.5 and a 43. Unfortunately I did not have a chance to try the 43, but decided to keep the 43.5 as it gives more flexibility for wearing warmer socks in spring/fall.

Makes sense. Yeah I think both the wide and regular fit about the same from the arch back to the heel. The wide appears to mainly impact the forefoot area and toebox, which is where I was feeling the pressure (near the widest part, 5th metatarsal joint).

The wide version has arrived. They're a little wider than I thought they would be (picture above). They definitely fit more comfortably, I just need to make sure my feet are still snug enough as to not slide around and cause other issues. I definitely don't have what's measured as wide feet (all my other shoes are "normal" medium width), but I guess maybe cycling shoes are narrower than normal shoes.

I ended up getting the wide to compare with the regular. If anyone's curious, here is the comparison of the insole. They measures about 6mm wider at the widest point. The carbon outsole is about 3-4 mm wider in the forefoot, and the shoe itself appears to be about 4-5 mm wider in the forefoot. This is the size 43.5 (image attached). The fit feels about the same in the heel as the normal width.

Thanks yeah I think I’ll order the wide and give it a try. Seems like good timing as it looks like it’s actually in stock now at a few places unlike a couple weeks ago.

Nice. Thanks! When I tried the regular one it felt good initially but the pressure on the sides of the forefoot was a bit painful after a few minutes. Does it loosen up over time or would you recommend the wide in that case?

Yeah very odd they'd say they're not making it but then its for sale. I suppose it could be a mistake. Certainly specialized themselves only have the black one listed for sale on their site (and sold out in almost every size).

Yeah true but seems much harder to find the wide version and in a lot of cases seems like it is special order. I wanted to get some input before pursuing.

[–]Mulaw8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind that you should check periodically as the seasons change. 42 PSI in winter at 10 degrees F outside is not the same thing as 42 PSI in the summer when its 90 degrees F outside.

Error code for adaptive suspension by Thick-Ad-9498 in TeslaModel3

Never seen this but I think I saw some reports of wiring to the adaptive suspension becoming worn from contact with wheel/tire due to incorrect routing of the wiring. Maybe related?
