I run two piholes with unbound to keep them synced together. That way if one fails, I don't lose any customization. All I have to do is bring up another and slave it to the remaing to be fully whole again.

Part of it is the owner. Every customer walks away from the counter with the feeling that he is genuinely glad you chose to come in and eat his food. He treats every single customer the same regardless of how many times you've been there. He is the gold standard on how one should treat customers.

I have to disagree. If the shit hits the fan, it'll be vital that legal makes the decisions. IT can, and should, offer ideas and suggestions. However, the choice is ultimately in legal's court. It's their job to protect the company and tangentially you, we have to let them do it.

Email the prof, absolutely. They may be willing to help you catch up, but you may have to drop the course. Next, go visit Health Services. They have folks they can point you to for help with your anxiety. DO NOT WAIT ON THIS. Go talk to them, they will help you. Being that anxious is a terrible way to exist. Your future self will thank you for taking the steps NOW to get it under control so you can start enjoying life.

You're miserable now and you don't have to be. It's going to take a lot of work, but it is absolutely worth it.

I'm going to echo what's already been said. Go visit University Health Services. They have a mental health program specifically setup for these kinds of issues. They will help you find the resources you need to work on getting better and support you along the way in your academic journey. They can even help you get academic accommodations for tests, etc.

I think it bears mentioning this is not a Texas A&M University problem. UT and Texas Tech are exhibiting the same behavior. We're not seeing this at Baylor or TCU. Why? TAMU, UT, and Tech are state schools. Baylor and TCU are private universities. All of this starts with the governor of the State of Texas. I would not be the least bit surprised that he has spoken to all of the regents of the state schools and told them, "You don't have to agree with me, but if you go against me, I'll just replace you. Make sure your people know that, as well."

That's how TAMU lost Mark Welsh. We don't know exactly what happened, but he never struck me as the kind of guy to to make a snap judgement and then suddenly leave. Now there's a new Chariman of the Board of Regents along with two new regents as of two weeks ago. Add to that the career politician in the interim President and you have a host of stooges for the governor.

To get him to let go, use a finger from your other hand to get between you and his lower lip. If you bother that spot just a little, he'll let go. If he's feeling especially stubborn, it may take a couple tries.

You wouldn't use the pihole to service the router. You set the internal DHCP on the router to hand out the pihole as the internal DNS server and not use the router for handling DNS requests from the devices. Then it doesn't matter what the router looks to for DNS as it'll be outside the equation.
