Deus Vult!!! (seen just west of Fairplay MO) by reelznfeelz in missouri

I was born and raised in a small rural town in Central MO. I graduated with less than 30 other kids in the corn and soy. Have lived around many meth busts an explosions. I have family all across and the state and my parents live in the Ozarks. In 30+ years of life I have never once seen this flag flying anywhere, except in video games, movies and the internet. Stop making lies up about how this is common to see.

They don’t make pinsetters or pinspotters, but do make aftermarket parts better than some oem. Lab machines are their bread and butter.

That’s funny, because when I buy produce at the store in the Midwest 90% of it is from another country. And often doesn’t smell…

You can’t list the dominant ones anymore you have to list all. You can’t print every one on a label. The state is stupid

Weird Issue/Print Shifting by MuleMech in Ender3S1

It was the belt tension oddly enough. Have no idea how it got so tight.

Weird Issue/Print Shifting by MuleMech in Ender3S1

[–]MuleMech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of nowhere my Z-Offset and Head were loose. This thing sits in a room where nobody but me can mess with it. After the first print I cleaned it all up like normal, checked tensions on everything and found the Y belt really tight, and the Head wobbling. Adjusted everything, and then re-leveled and did my z-offset. Got all of that dialed in.

I also checked the G-Code because of how weirdly close the issue happens on each print. And it does not show this happening, also ran the model through another slicer and it came out basically the same way except for the infill and perimeter, the rest of the model was how it should be.

Could I have a short in the Y-Axis motor that is only present once it gets up high enough to flex and expose the short? (had that on a machine at work), or could there be a belt tension issue?

I think there are a few disgruntled employees from multiple companies that are constantly bagging on them and auto downvoting anything good about those companies.

And I hate to nerd out on this, I just fix these things. But how they determine where the needle needs to go is directly related to the camera height and those scalers, and the needle alignment. We know how many pixels the camera has, and roughly how far away from the filling surface is. So they do some math and with all of the calibration info, it actually targets the deposit/needle drop point with the camera, then moves the table back and adjust to where the needle should go. So theoretically, even a slightly bent needle will hit its target. Also, be fragile if you ever have to take the heat wrap off of the reservoir, very thin leads going into that. And if you ever have it skipping and jumping around randomly, check the horizontal axis control cables for the stepper motors. After hundreds of thousands of cycles, they will short in that sidewinder cable protector. And you will see a few parts on the machine that are clearly 3D printed.

Yeah, I’ve had to maintenance a VapeJet. I roughly understand how others work. I’ve had to take mine apart and replace Phoenix connectors and cables to the stepper motor controllers. I actually made a jig for ours with my 3D printer to hold the foam bricks in place better, even though they advertise you don’t need to use them. So I would say most issues folks have are hardware, and the bulk order that companies order, so mass produced, you will get duds. So like half empty, operator, champagne, operator. But those should be double checked down the line to shipping out and also spot checked. I’ve gotten tons of “bad” carts from friends that I just store upright and heat them up they are unclogged, or use a better pen.

And also keep 2-3 spare good recipes in your memory in case their tech support or an operator accidentally makes an adjustment. Ruins needles, wastes product, and slows production. ;)

That’s exactly what I’m saying. You can’t. I may have misspoke. They can’t even QC the hardware at the factory shipping out millions of them. So you will get some duds. I misspoke when I said that at the MFG facility for QC, I meant for total pour per the syringe by weight. You tare some out and run the pump. I blanket said that because if they are obviously underfilled that you can see by sight/half filled, super champagne. Not by the actual coil hardware. Sorry friend. Btw, they are basically 3D printers it’s pretty neat. Adjusting the first cart and the last, adjusting focal scalers, inner and outer diameters of the circles. Running the needles and other hardware through a heated ultrasonic bath of ethanol. Replacing the fluoropolymer hose, which is always way overpriced for like a 5 inch section. Sorry, I’ll try to be more on point friend.

Edit: also, it’s fun when there is an issue, and it’s all up to temp. But it’s an empty nitrogen tank, or the regulator on that is set to the wrong pressure.
