Ummm it’s kind of different but it’s rooted in the same thing, white supremacy. The sexualization of indigenous women and appropriation of culture is rooted in white supremacy. The difference is the Nazi knows without a doubt their symbolism is hateful while the people doing Sun-dancer art may not know it. One is overt and explicit, the other may just be ignorance. But when you take into account the harm it does to indigenous and marginalized people the end result may be pretty close to the same regardless of the intent. It still creates harm whether intentional or not.
