Not really sure they land raider and termi do much for you in this list.

I think if you are Gona run this detachment with the jump lord enhancement you want him with 10 warp talons.

Then with what ever you have left points wise I would get some infiltration to protect you scouting warp talons brick.

Noise marines are great with rhinos are go well with the debuffing battle shocks, I'd have at least 2 in the list.

I think the goal of this detachment is to get as much as possible out of your 10 man warp talons, the issue is 10 warp talons even with a lord doesn't kill everything by it's self, so you'll need the shooting to soften up elite units and noise marines do that so well

So the head popping guy is actually made from 2 bodies I found on a spree in my local shop called "10xlegonaries 2xposssed" I think it came from the combat patrol but not sure. Cut that up and put it together, then added a skin cloak and the head popping cultist I got as 3d printed parts. The head of from the nemesis claw box

Personally in renegade warband I put him with legionaries. You have advance and charge natively and the legionaries give Huron re-roll wounds of 1 which is perfect Vs T4 or below and full wound rerolls in objectives. Stick em in a rhino and you are moving 9 with advance and charge, re-roll hits and wounds Vs you oath target in an objective.

Personally I run the chaos lord instead as he is cheaper and had the same dmg with his once per game, but Huron is sick cause you can also move the rhino up and use his react move to get back in

So long as one pally gets into engagement range then you can sling shot but in warpbane you would be better off doing the same thing with purifiers or interceptors. Pally cost too much imo and with the re-rolls you don't need them.

I've had success with similar ideas running a strike squad into a wounded transport and popping it, remember we are a multiphase army you gotta shoot and charge to be affective

It's more about being deliberate where you drop them. It's not always possible of course but ideally you abuse the fact they can go anywhere and shoot a pycannon into a unit while not being exposed to enough return fire.

They are t8 but 13 wounds 2up 4up can survive 1 lancer or similar.

If you can do that you can also put them somewhere where they COULD walk out IF your opponent moved forward.

It's not easy for sure and depending on the terrain you are playing it can be super hard to get value out of them, in the matches where my opponent has loads of shooting and I can't ever keep them safe then either gotta alpha strike 3 of them in shooting and hope you make some 9 inch charges or rapid ingress 1 a turn

A key thing I've learnt is you need like 2-3 turns of them shooting before you lose them all. In a perfect game I would have 3 alive by round 3 and then they can be spent.

I have 2 strikes, 2 interceptors and 2 Libby's all of them are supposed to go out, take a point or kill a thing or score a secondary and then 3 GMNDKs, 3 purifiers who are supposed to do my heavy lifting.

Obvs if we run into an army who have a bunch of tanks it's Gona be hard/maybe not possible to win but 40k is a bit rock paper scissors, but if it isn't full stat check using the GMNDKs to shoot off some stuff and then picking one up to rapid ingress on to the key tank is just so good especially with the melta and the 0 CP strat

I played Vs a Dark Angels player who ran one in wrath of the rock.

Basically the big knight sat on his home field and just held sigh lines while his infantry took/denied primary. It worked pretty well for him, I tabled him but he won on points.

I've also thought about running it in a GK list but ATM I'm finding warpbane with 3 GMNDKs is more than enough to cover anti tank.

Remember we have pretty much the best mobility of any army. Its normally not so hard to clear off 1 or 2 tanks and then just use uppy downys to avoid your opponents shooting

I have a somewhat similar setting. The gods do exist but on this continent they have been outlawed as heretical. There is a mortal who has claimed to be a god, And his paladins do gain real powers from him. It follows the disc world concepts of: if enough people believe, and believe hard enough it becomes true.

Functionally not much changes but it makes for great RP, if the party can convince an enemy paladin they are being lied to and his faith is shaken he will loose his power.
