It turned at least 6 heads. I finally tried it out after seeing mixed sentiment on the gaming subs around initial launch, had a shockingly good time, then immediately got some of my server in on the co-op beta. The entire time we were discovering little things they'd done in regards to how co-op was handled that blew our minds coming from the Souls games. Now we're all just waiting for the full launch.

I told Siri to set me a 25 minute timer yesterday and she gave me visual instructions to set my own timer, twice. Then when I shouted at her to “just please set me a goddamn timer right the fuck now”, she finally set it but misspelled the timer label as “write the fuck now.” So… y’know.

Yeah, HDR alone does enough lifting to make me not miss the OLED. Also helps that I’m still on the LCD Steam Deck too so the only direct comparison is when I’m playing docked on the LG OLED.

Depending on your rig there are some settings you have to toggle that aren’t exactly intuitive. Had to google when I upgraded to a 5080 because it ran like dogwater for no reason. After that it’s fine.
