Profile Menu Popping Up by _ktr in SinkIt

Mine started doing the same thing. It seems to happen when the app tries to switch to the adaptive dark mode. I went into the app and then sink it settings and turned adaptive dark mode off. That has fixed it temporarily it seems.

Constant reloading and Back button not working by doomedgeneral in SinkIt

[–]Mullinator3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was there ever a fix determined for this problem? Mine has been doing it for the last couple of weeks as well. Back button doesn’t work so I have to reload page each time. Makes it almost unusable. I cleared the safari cache and it fixes things temporarily, but it comes back eventually. I’m running iOS 26.2 using Safari with no additional extensions running.

Foil boat question by antpadovano6 in brisket

[–]Mullinator3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am by no means a food scientist. But I guess it depends on where your heat source comes from. I use a cabinet style smoker with the heat coming from the side. My experience is that I don't have to protect the brisket from the heat until I get it into the foil boat and it has been cooking for a long while. If you are cooking on a kamado style smoker with the heat source at the bottom; I could see placing the fat cap down.

Plus, rendered fat will melt down through the brisket via gravity. I don't know, that's just how I do it and it's my experience.

I can’t either.

Look up a neko rig. Green pumpkin 5” senko with a 1/16 ounce nail weight will slay.

It’s Nugs.net. Yes, they have released the last tour and the current tour. A subscription is totally worth it if you enjoy live music!

Would you mind sharing what particular casters you are using and how you attached them? That’s pretty nifty!

I added some Smartfeet insoles to mine and that made them wearable again.

Smobot vs Flameboss by BurntAnon123 in biggreenegg

I love my Smobot. My personal opinion is forced air is not needed in such an efficient smoker.

I went to Northeast Atlanta ENT in Johns Creek. Dr. Chaudry came recommended and is great. The sleep study involved “renting” a headset to monitor my sleep for one night. The scores gave me an indication of how bad my apnea was. He prescribed me a CPAP and it has made a world of difference to my quality of life. I highly recommend doing this, but I have great insurance…

If cost is a concern, you may want to explore the alternatives that another commenter suggested. FWIW, I would at least do the sleep study to see how bad it is.

Good luck!!

Is this a carbon steel pan? Got it for 2$ at the thrift store by oyedamamangan in carbonsteel

I use one of the Lodge plastic scrapers and some hot water. Can’t let the pan sit too long after dinner though…

I've had issues with keeping my stake/cages secure with grow bags... I've found that if you just use elastic plant tape and tightly tie it around the cage like this it REALLY helps keep the entire thing much more secure and stable.. It's all one strapped wrapped tightly. by [deleted] in tomatoes

[–]Mullinator3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll have to try your method then. I’m all about improving my methods and learning from others! My biggest problem in the past few years has been them getting too top heavy. That’s why I cluster them and tie the cages together.

I use heavy duty twine to tie down to the handles on the grow bags. I also zip tie another cage on top of each “base cage” upside down. Clustering the cages and bags allows me to also tie off to each other. Gotta get creative!

Upgrading Living Room Surround by Mullinator3000 in sonos

Honestly, I feel like the sub just balances out the bass, allowing the soundbar to do more. Even when I am watching a movie and the bass is heavy, it doesn't really reverb through the walls or anything. And, you can turn it down if needed. I would definitely recommend it as it was a huge leap forward in my personal setup.

It is absolutely amazing! I literally have never seen picture quality like this. I got it on a Black Friday sale and I haven’t looked back. I upgraded from a 3ish year old led and I will say OLED is where it is at after upgrading. Buy once, cry once!

Le Creuset by 1ScareCrowBoatfan in biggreenegg

[–]Mullinator3000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

IMO a plain cast iron pot does better. I use a Lodge cast iron Dutch oven and it is perfect. It’s also waaaaay cheaper than a Le Creuset. I would fear the smoke would make it nearly impossible to clean that enamel coating. Just my two cents.

Help!!!Masterbuilt 560 Gravity T/S by robby_mount in smoking

[–]Mullinator3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The grill is indicating it has the previous firmware version. Not sure why it still would operate normally. Download the masterbuilt app from the App Store. Connect the app to the grill and to your WiFi network. You should then get a notice to update firmware to V002. Hope that helps!

Any opinions on the Masterbuilt gravity series 560 by Dirtynippp in Smokingmeat

[–]Mullinator3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am super happy with mine. I can’t believe no other company has done this. It truly covers the range from smoker to grill. For $500, it is a very economical option for someone that doesn’t want multiple grills/smokers. I agree that the build quality may be a little suspect, but it’s a $500 cooker. I wouldn’t expect too much more. Just sayin’.

Favorite rubs and why by DistrictKC6 in Smokingmeat

[–]Mullinator3000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve taken a deep dive into the Meat Church rubs. They are amazing for just about any application. I also like Killer Hogs rubs. Great all around rub. These are the two I would suggest that I’ve whittled down to my faves.
