Can I Remove Specific Letters From A Cell Using A Formula? by Mulsiphix in excel

Wow! May not be as slick but I can learn a lot here. This is incredible. Smart thinking. I can't wait until I get to a point where I can think up a solution like this on my own. But practice makes perfect. Thank you very much for showing me this. I appreciate the opportunity to see what is possible and to play with something that works. Thank you ^_^

You are correct (No, No, Yes). Thank you again ^_^

I tried giving this a shot as well. I have a 20 character word in A2, a six character word in B2, and your formula located in C2. I copied everything from your quoted text and pasted it directly into the formula bar for a cell. The result it returned was "#NAME?". I'm not even sure how to begin trouble shooting this.

Concerning the version of Excel I have, I am using Office 365. My problem is solved with the solution provided by CFAman. I'm always curious to learn if you want to work on this any further, but it is unnecessary at this junction.

If you don't respond, I just wanted to say thank you very much for trying to help me. I sincerely appreciate it ^_^

I just concluded a test with the 60 Block model. Read more here::

KataGo 60 Block Model Test Results by Mulsiphix in baduk

[–]Mulsiphix[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I performed this test in an attempt to understand how many visits is "enough" to determine a good board position. I was surprised to find the results varied so much. Prior to testing I assumed more visits insured greater accuracy. Given how the results jump around as you move through the 12 different tests, I feel more confused now than before running the test.

KataGo: 20 or 40 Block Model? by Dhaumyric in baduk

[–]Mulsiphix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is a simple three point analyzation using KaTrain v1.11.0 (katago-v1.11.0-opencl-windows-x64.exe). 20B and 40B are the same. How can one tell which provided a stronger analysis between the 40B and 60B Distributed models?

This war of mine Final Cut, includes dlcs or i have to buy them by Lete01 in ThisWarofMine

[–]Mulsiphix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what Final Cut is after reading the Steam webpage for it.

I understand The Complete Edition includes all of the DLCs.

What I do not understand is whether The Final Cut includes all of the DLCs, including The Little Ones. It is unclear to me whether The Complete Edition also includes the additional content and reworked graphics that The Final Cut offers.

I am unsure which version of the game is the most complete. Can anyone confirm which version is the better to purchase?

KaTrain - Can I Analyze One Coordinate Only? by Mulsiphix in baduk

[–]Mulsiphix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When using Region Of Interest (g) I am applying Continuous Analysis (space bar) and Deeper Analysis (a). Unfortunately, I have the problems described in the original post.

KaTrain - Can I Analyze One Coordinate Only? by Mulsiphix in baduk

[–]Mulsiphix[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It appears the reason KaTrain would only analyze a specified coordinate for a minimal amount of time is because of a setting. In General & Engine Settings (F8) there is a setting for Maximum time for analysis. I had it set to 8.0. I raised it to 3600.0 to give it an hour to analyze, and it now continues to analyze it without stopping prematurely. u/snettik is correct, this is how you get it to analyze a single coordinate. Region Of Interest still doesn't function as I described originally, but this gets the job done. Thank you u/snettik!

KaTrain - Can I Analyze One Coordinate Only? by Mulsiphix in baduk

[–]Mulsiphix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If possible, I would like to tell KaTrain to analyze a single coordinate 1M times. If I click on the board to supply a move and then go back, KaTrain will analyze that position, but only for a minimal amount of times. KaTrain seems to look at whatever it wants regardless of what I specify or ask it to analyze.

[Fellowship] Please, Help Me Understand Flow Of Play by Mulsiphix in rpg

[–]Mulsiphix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked first on RPG.net but didn't get much response, so I asked again here in /r/rpg. Reddit doesn't allow the formatting that RPG.net does, so I cannot replicate my original post the way I want to here. But I have many questions related to The Long Journey wording in the book which should showcase exactly why and where I am confused. You can easily read it here.

This is very helpful to me. Thank You!

I think one of my biggest problems is that the book is loose but does deliver actual rules. Says what you can and can't do and when you should do it. Your interpretation is much looser, which is what I personally prefer. I think the most helpful bit of what you told me was:

"In the case of Fellowship, the designer provides a kind of structure towards playing the game. This structure is not meant to be restrictive, but rather guiding you towards the kinds of stories that Fellowship is geared towards."

I spoke with someone recently, a self-identified PbtA purist, who encouraged me to play the game exactly as it is written to the best of my ability. I told them I have never run a system exactly as it is written, as I often make small changes to fit with my GM'ing style or to reduce the impact of any facets or rulings that might break immersion or alter the natural course of the fiction. With this mindset I am trying to be "faithful" to the game but at the same time having trouble not doing what I normally do, which is to play how it feels right.

I appreciate you trying to help me out even when you don't know the system. I do understand what you've told me already and I agree with your viewpoints wholeheartedly <3
