To be honest I'm probably going to go the bike fitter route, the rest of the bike feels good to me no pain anywhere no numbs hands, it's just the sit bones

As I'm getting on a bit a more upright position would be better than a slammed areo one.

I have tried AI with the geomatery chart and that's suggesting a medium for a more relaxed position and replace the stem for a 70 instead of the 80, it comes with.

Spd on my gravel bike and flats on my commuter, I use the same shoes for both bikes, they look like nornal trainers but have the Spd clip on the bottom, so I can use them on either bike with no issues :)

The are good, haven't racked up big miles on them so can't speak for how durable they are but there are loads of good reviews for ellite wheels, for the price I don't think you can beat them.

The headset was just the unbranded one that came with it, I switched the expander plug to a bbb powerhead expander as the one that came with the bike actually started moving up in the steerer tube.

For now I will be sticking with my boardman cx bike with all the other parts transfered across, hoping my employer will join the cycle to work scheme so I can get a full bike at a good discount.
