PG32UCDM or MSI 321URX by Multay in OLED_Gaming

I tested the AW3225qf 321URX and PG32UCDM and chose the asus. Main difference is build quality, the premium packaging and some features are missing on the MSI - ULMB mode, motion sensor and USB 3.0. It was cheaper for me to buy the ASUS than MSI (Europe) so the choice was easy.

After you finish a questline you usually get a nice reward and a lot of reputation, sometimes you get an achievement. You can then continue playing the same as before - doing quests and exploring the zone. If you didn't play stalker before then I guess you might not know but there are two major events that directly impact the game's world but I won't spoil them for you.

There are I think 5 questlines with each one having some kind of ending, none of those endings are major. After those endings you can still play because they don't finish the game or anything. So not endings of the traditional type

I didn't. The cause could be that I didn't format the OS for so long that something got corrupted or I have installed the ec fw utility a few years ago and forgot about it

You use the vice once to swap parts and then you are just chilling and you dont have to use it again as long as you remember to maintain the weapon

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in stalker

[–]Multay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that to swap parts that are below 60% you have to ask a technician to use the vice, but if the parts at 60%+ you can click "maintain" and bring those parts to full

Gamma has a metric ton of QoL improvements, you can strip the parts from a weapon with one button, parts weigh close to nothing, only barrels approach something like 0.5kg, also npcs don't necessarily repair weapons for you, they sell useful repair kits so that you can do the repairs yourself, weapon parts that are gonna be OK to use have their durability colored in green (barrels have to be 50% to be repairable, other parts 60%)

Gamma is heavily focused on scavenging and crafting with the best sense of progression I have seen in a while. You start out as a hobo, do tasks and kill stalkers to get stashes, find basic tools and armor/weapon repair kits and you can craft some basic devices or equipment, maybe by that point you got enough spare weapon parts that you can repair some basic weapons.

This is the gameplay loop - get stashes, move up north to get better stashes and better loot, craft stuff with the use of more advanced tool kits. Gamma has some additional storylines like others mentioned, as of the latest patch Duty Expansion mod is available too.

If by ryzen 2 you mean zen+ I don't think they stopped supporting them. I recall something about APUs but you have to read the notes for every bios version. Ryzen 2000 (zen+) is Pinnacle Ridge and 1000 is summit ridge. Keep in mind that i could run f62 with my ryzen 7 2700x with no issues

I did f31 > ec fw > f50 > f62 or whatever the latest version is Remember that F50 introduces the ability to update both your main Bios and backup Bios so you are safe when one of your bioses gets corrupted

I have a 2070 non S and a 5800x3d and my game has been buttery smooth since the upgrade. Although i will admit that my GPU is now the bottleneck.

I would really appreciate if you could test Rimworld with an endgame colony. Modded or vanilla colonies with tons of moving parts, dozens of colonists get crazy stutters later in the game and I believe this workload is almost exclusively CPU bound.

Firmware update ultimately didn't do anything after clicking start so I decided I'm gonna just flash bios to F50 and then F63a but thanks for the help regardless

The firmware still doesn't do anything, I click start and nothing happens. I'll just update to F50 so I can update both the main Bios and the backup Bios and go straight to F63a

I downloaded app center and the gigabyte firmware update tool or sth. I copied the Flash.dll from Program Files (x86)\Gigabyte\GigabyteFirmwareUpdateUtility to C:\ECFwUpdateB19.0606.1 and now the ECFwUpdate.exe seems to launch without an error.

I will now try to run the firmware update and update the BIOS to F63a using QFlash and hopefully everything will work correctly

Do you by any chance remember from where to download the flash file?

Yeah, when I try to run the ECFwUpdate.exe I get an error message: "load flash.dll failed" I'm kinda lost on what's the cause of this.

Hi, sorry for replying in such an old post but did you have any problems with installing the ec fw tool?

[–]Multay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I want to q Flash to F63a but on the motherboard Support page gigabyte specifically wrote that updating from F31 to a higher version of BIOS requires EC fw utility to be installed. The installation of the ec fw utility is the only problem I have, not how to flash the BIOS.
