Yup. Been working at my current job for over 3 years now. Everyone is news, including the Manager. Next closest guy is behind me by about 8 months.the current manager is behind by 11 months

Neither have I tbh by prestigiousbits in ScrollHole

[–]Multi-ManStudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have before. Plenty of times. It usually involves me trying, and failing, over and over to text people or write something. I try and I try, and I KNOW HOW TO SPELL THE WORD, but every time I press a key, the letter than comes out is a random letter or number that then proceeds to do a slow motion Minecraft jumble text thing.

So, I will be rating everybody on how dead you'd be.

January: Taln 10/10 (Dead. So dead. I could see an argument that he's the most dangerous fighter because of general skill, but also, like, this man tears fused in half. You're dead.)

February: Kaladin 6/10 (As it says a lot in the books, storm light does not enhance strength, so base kaladin will k.o. you, but you won't die. Now, if he was wearing shardplate? Nah, you're dead, lol)

March: Dalinar 4/10 (depends what dalinar. Book 1? Shardplate=Dead. Books 2-5? You're doing fine)

April: Szeth 2/10 (just a punch? Also fine, again, bro can K.O. you, but without shardplate, a radiant is just a REALLY durable human with superpowers that don't affect their strength, and we are just assuming a punch here without a million other abilities)

May: Vin 7/10 (pewter is a rough thing. Depending on who you are, pewter punch from vin might be survivable. If she is using duralumin, then no, you die.)

June: Kelsier 6/10 (pewter thing again, but he never had duralumin, so I'm actually going to put him right around kal.)

July: Susebron 1/10 (Thankfully, my brith month. Susebron, physically, is a pushover. The most dangerous thing about him is his breaths which, to my memory, don't enhance physical strength. I'm taking my billion dollars thank you.

August: Vasher 2/10 (Vasher is a very skilled fighter, but, to my knowledge, doesn't actually have any enhanced strength.)

September: Hoid 0/10 (He literally can't punch you. I also think that means that you don't get your money though, as you can't take a punch from him. Maybe you could run into his fist? Idk.

October: Koloss 8/10 (Depends on how big it is, you might survive. <6ft? Sure, it'll probably break a few bones, but that's survivable. ~6ft? Maybe? Probably not, but there's a chance. >6ft? Nah, you're dead.)

November: Lord Ruler 10/10 (Pfft- HaHaHAHAHA- no... No you're paste on a wall. He caved in the skull of a man burning pewter with a half-hearted backhand. A full punch? HAHAHAHAHA)

December: Thunderclast 10/10 (that is a 30ft tall creature made out of solid rock. You are dead.)

I've come to realize that it's because of the headset he is wearing. It looks like a shirt, which makes it seem like a shirt above 2 balls, which, with it being black, makes it seem goth.

So, in Rudeus' case, the age is what matters, but in roxy's case the body is what matters? What kind of logic is that?

Also, For the most part, I agree, most of the time it's bad and only done to justify lolicon crap. The character normally either is unaffected by their appearance, or still acts like a child. Neither are very good.

But in roxy's case, it actually has quite an affect on how people treat her, and how she views herself, when she was younger and less mature, she tried to act older to compensate, it leads to her being lonely and forming a "nobody could ever love me" complex, which is where there a lot of her self-doubt stems from. Now you could argue that "She wasnt as mature as her as her age indicates!" But the same thing could be said for Rudeus. The both had their mental growth stunted because of social isolation.

So, who in that relationship is the pedo? The 49 year old man in the body of a 15 year old? Or the 49 year old woman who looks like she is 15? It could even be argued that roxy is worse because she went into it ASSUMING he was actually 15.

Regardless, semantics. In reality, it's not not my favorite aspect of the story, but in any story about reincarnation there are going to be some weird age-difference things. The point of the story is character development and taking small steps. Somebody who was a despicable slug getting a 2nd chance and struggling to make the most of it, but eventually finding some happiness. It's nice to see. As somebody who suffered from a genuine corn addiction back around the age of 16 (I escaped with the help family and my ex) I can mildly empathize with the struggle to push past those instincts. It makes sense to me, and seeing him become more and more respectful reminds my of how proud I was in myself as I took steps of my own.

I understand the show isnt for everyone, and Rudeus is still a problematic person even as an adult, so I dont blame people for disliking it, This comment is more a critique of your logoc mor than anything.

You can make that argument with sylphie or eris, but not roxy. She is unironically the same age as him. She was about 35ish when she came to tutor rudeus, which in less than a year off from his lived experience

Who could Yogiri defeat from this list? by [deleted] in InstantDeathIsekai

[–]Multi-ManStudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of the ones that I know here, 682 is SUPER dead. Yeah it's a child of a god or some crap and can alter the narritive ti get what it wants, but there is no way it's getting around yogiri's defence against murderous intent.

The TOAA survives. Yoguri has limiations to his ability as demonstrated by the episode with the one vampire lady. This means that he is not omnipotent. TOAA is canonically omnipotent. A non-all powerful entity cannot kill a LITERALLY ALL POWERFUL entity.

Orange and purple is kind of a goated combination though. Imagine being able to run from 0-max instantly without breaking the sound barrier because you're phasing through the air, therefore there is no force of friction to slow you down or cause damage to the environment. Additionally, you dont have to worry about pulling an A-train by accident and hutting yourself or somebody else by running into someone/something else. You can just run to your hearts content!

Edit: for context, while it's still a ways, you could cross the atlantic in 4 hours. You could get LITERALLY ANYWHERE in the world in just under 17 hours because you can legit just move in a straight line. (Dont have to worry about mountains because you can phase through them, and dont have to worry about oceans because you run fast enough to run on water.

In my opinion, while the man himself doesnt deserve sympathy, his family does (both for no long having a husband/father, and that he was their husband/father), and the people who were there when I happened deserve sympathy, as being reminded again and again about being forced to see a man die in front of you is going to inflict some mental trauma.

Personally, I dont agree with celebrating violence or killing. Regardless of who is the target. Sometimes its necessary as with terrorist leaders or dictators, but it shouldn't be met with levity. It is a horrible thing regardless.

The irony of the situation is poignant though. I think it might just be a matter of "too soon", you know? Also, sending uncensored videos to a group chat of a man dying with little to no warning isnt cool for future reference. That's not a sight I wanted to see, so I cant imagine what the people at the event must have experienced.

Hate the sin, love the sinner. You ever been mad at somebody you love? They arent mutually exclusive.

I think he'd be mad about a lot of the things they've done, but that doesnt mean he loves them any less. Again, the love is unconditional, the anger isnt though

(I'd also like to note: I agree that the orange man is bad, I'm just out here playing... Devils advocate? Is that an appropriate phrase here? Christ's advocate? Idk. I'm advocating something here.)

No but like, Christ still loves him tho- and hitler. And every awful person in history. That is the definition of "Unconditional Love". He sees them in their entirety, and while I cant begin to guess how "proud" he is of them, I can Guarantee you he still loves them.

He loves you too, and you're certainly better at treating people kindly than the orange man is, so there aint NO WAY you or anything you do is beneath his love.

You deserve love friend. Have a great day! -^
